Mu Online is a old game and doesn't compare with Windows 8 yet, and it probably
never will except of Mu Online 2.
Rightlick on the main.exe. -> Properties -> Combatibility to Windows 2000 NT or XP
figure it out while 2000 should already work even on W8.

Our Mu client is not compatible with Win8 at the moment. We had a player who install the preview version of Win8 previously and it gave him problems. The latest OS you should have is Win7 if you wish to play the game.

I play a lot of MU and InfinityMU is the only one who's giving me problem in Windows 8.
Maybe because the season it's too old or the archive of the InfinityMU are too old and not compatibe or there's something in InfinityMU imcompatible with Windows 8.
I can play Mu Season 6 Episode 3 without a Problem.
Windows 8 is not that advanced compared to Windows 7 like you think. because is still using the Windows NT Kernel 6.xxx
Windows XP - 5.1
Windows Vista - 6.0
Windows 7 - 6.1
Windows 8 6.2
furthermore some driver of Windows 7 works perfectly in Windows 8.

I'm just asking when will be compatible with Windows 8 T_T.
I really want to play InfinityMU in Windows 8 because for me is faster than Windows 7.

Bro, Word of advice..
Just a suggestion though,
if you really really want to play Infinity Mu you could let a technician install 2(two) O.S in your system(but you can do it on your own if you know this type of sh!t). Preferably Windows 8 and Windows XP;
When you wanna play Infinity Mu just boot your system unit with the XP O.S...

Your gameclient should start working after you run mu.exe (launcher) to update your game files. If you still have problems please let me know in this thread.
