Well, as the title says, everytime after i run the launcher, when the launcher runs, the *cannot connect to ftp* error pops up.

I've already downloaded the gameguard patch & the latest patch release. Am i missing something here?

I just run the game from the main.exe which then opens the auto updater Try it

Less steps in the proccess = less opportunitues for failure

I use only main.exe, because I guess somewhere it was written that it is much better to run game from main.exe file!

If nothing helps try reinstalling the game. Or check the anti virus or if you know how check your ports.

I think it might be something to do with your firewall, It's blocking the game client, see if you can let the firewall ignore InfinityMU.

99% it's something wrong with your firewall, the FTP is UP and work!

Try to close your firewall and then connect, if still don't work I can support you remotely just say your MSN/Yahoo or Skype ID.

Right, so I'll try to help you (I haven't personally looked at the game client much, so I do not know how it connects, and so but I'll try and help you to the best of my ability).

First of all, could you do a netstat -noa in CMD (Start -> Run -> "cmd" without the quotations ("") and then execute the following command):

netstat -noa

I suggest, that you close all external, background applications that may use external ports especially other active FTP mirrors. You should get a brief list of IP addresses, and a few ports. I want you to post that list in here, and I'll troubleshoot your issue further. You can mark/copy the list by Right Clicking, and then choosing the first option available (Mark) and mark all the lines as per request, and then right click once (which will automatically copy all the lines, then paste it in this thread).

Hmm try this:
Right click the MU.exe then click the" Run as Administrator"..

Solution. Patch client manually with the latest update.

EDIT: noticed another error, seems that when i try to visit the website on FireFox/Chrome i get the weird error:

Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete.

So, anyone can help with that?
