The return of devias gate!!

Hello everyone, been thinking about this so wanted to talk about this theme again.

What about ¿devias gate? Some old players here must have great memories about this wonderful place where everyone used to AFK and fight a lot. Yes this discussion its been made sometimes already :

Checking these threads you can notice the positive and negative points, imo we can make Arena Non PvP place and move move it to Devias Gate, since already we respawn near the vault so way easily to get back in the fight. Or maybe can make possible to respawn in the same place you die like in arena? Not sure, but what do you guys think about this? :)

I remember those good old times. The problem is as you said. After death you wont respawn at the same place like in arena, loosing time to come back on pvp area and as we all know time is a money. I still can see few people afking at devias, but i don't think it's gonna work.

Devias Gate, Atlans, Lorencia Gates, Tarkan Gates, Losttower 1 and many more are old school pvp zones. Sure at those old school times arena wasn't even in use or it was for leveling. But in InfinityMU, arena always been like this, yet serious pvp players were always in Devias Gate. Serious buff vs buff, group vs group, 1on1 pvps were always in there. Arena was like fun ganking place, where you can kill someone and wait him respawn at the exact place with non buff or hp ready. At Devias, serious pvp players made name for themselves but being a survivor at the end at outside of the gate while he/she making you stay in safe and watch him. Then you start giving reasons, complains and all these adds competition to the battle and you take PVP as real deal. At the end, you could beat him or you join him and it made that guy famous and it happened to plenty of players here including me. Even GMs always spawned in Devias Gate for to meet and talk with players. People AFKed in Devias, because if you wanted to make your name viable while even AFKing, there were not better place than Devias. You had charisma while even afking in that map.

But in arena, things are different. You ask for "go" which is start of friendly battle. If you are in "friendly battle" status with everyone, then you shouldn't care if you lose, then where is called competition ? At the end, it leads people stay AFK. Because you can`t attack anyone without "go", because all players around you made friendly "go" with you and now all of them are your friends or semi-friends :-D

We are in Max Rates PVP server. You have two reasons to enter this game casually. One is meeting with your friends and the other one must be facing with your rivals to put them down. Because the day you put them down, is the day you are the best known. Why you all should stay AFK(it must be for a little breaks) for long, because there is no something that can entertain you, can give goosebumps to you and can make you play to be played.

Devias 1 is good for PvP but it is just also like in arena. If you are killed by your opponent, you will respawn at Devias safe zone which is the main respawn area of Devias map and the you go back to Devias gate in which your opponent is waiting for you. Saying "go" just like in arena will also be the same in Dev gate, why? it's because after you are killed you are not able to use swell in safe zone that means you have to go outside Dev gate to make a swell and it is the same thing as not saying "go" if your opponent kills you after you go outside the gate. Like in arena, after you are killed you respawn on the same place where your opponent can kill you easily. My point is, saying "go" or not, if your opponent will automatically kill you after you respawn or go outside the gate is just the same as in Arena..
