Client Crashes KnowledgeBase
Client Issues:
1. Your PC needs to be clean from viruses and rootkits.
To clean your PC fast & efficient use malwarebytes (scan + repair) : https://www.malwarebytes.com/antirootkit/
Alternative Solution: www.kaspersky.com kaspersky special antivirus programs for any kind of viruses and rootkits, to remove this trojan rootkit and restore to original the api functions altered by the said rootkit.
2. Game is not starting (You press Connect and nothing happens)
Open your command prompt: Go to Run or Start Menu and write cmd and click to open Command Prompt and then write: netstat winsock reset
Press button: Enter
.. restart PC and voila your game should run smoothly!
BSOD / Computer Restarted when starting mu client:
Reason : Mu Client is started with compatability mode.
Solution : Remove mu client compatibility mode in client shortcut/program (main.exe and mu.exe) Properties options.
Client simply close upon starting without even reaching the loading screen / opening the mu window.
Reasons : Debugger is present, DEP (Data Execution Prevention) is set to all programs and mu client is started with limited user.
Solutions : Close all debuggers before starting client, set DEP for essential windows programs only (My Computer right click > Properties or system properties > Advanced Tab > Performance Settings Button > Data Execution Prevention Tab > Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only) and run mu client with admin level (run as Admin in Vista/Win7).

3. In Windows XP Game Client crashes (alias Don't Send error)?
Right Click InfinityMu Shortcut or mu.exe (located in infinitymu root folder)
Properties
Compatibility >Compatibility Mode >Check this Box (Run this program in compatibility mode for) > Windows 2000
OR
Your OS is Windows XP x32 Service Pack 2. Try updating it to Service Pack 3.
If client still crashes then problem is your OS. Try re-installing it.
