Hello,

I noticed some of our lovely members had some problems with our client, now i would like to make a little guide with some steps about how to fix them.

[h=3][Troubleshooting] Visual C++ Runtime Library Error[/h]
Problem N° 1:

- Archive missing

R: Sometimes when you try to log it shows some kind of error like "angel_wing.OZT is missing (Just an example, could be another file). You can fix this problem in that way:

Download our AutoUpdateTool in this thread -> Click . Run it as Administrator -> It will download any file missed and update your client.

If for some reason it doesn't download the file, Just disable your Antivirus + Firewall while you do the same process. It works 100%.


Problem N° 2:

- No Connect Button

R: Sometimes you can't connect cause there's no connect button right? Well, you can fix it in this way:

*Use CCleaner to clean your PC registry.
*Check if your internet is OK and see if you can open other sites.
*Reset your router (restart your internet connection) and try again.
*Reset your computer's DNS Cache -> Click this to see how to do it .
*If nothing so far worked go and call your internet provider and tell them that you cannot open exactly this address: "infinitymu.net" Internet Service Providers sometimes block sites/ip address ranges by mistake and this is the most possible reason why your "Connect" button is missing.


Problem N° 3:

- The game runs slow:

R: Probably the problem is your PC drivers, you can download them from here:

*Directx 11: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35
*NVIDIA: http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us
*RADEON: http://support.amd.com/en-us/download
*INTEL: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx

choose your video card model and download the latest drivers.


Problem N° 4 :

-Disconnect few seconds after select your character

R: Try not to use your keyboard button ENTER while selecting your character in-game. Just use your mouse and double click with right click on your character.


Problem N° 5:

- Can't access to website

R:

*Check if your internet is OK and see if you can open other sites.
*Reset your router (restart your internet connection) and try again.
*Reset your computer's DNS Cache -> Enter windows CMD promp -> write -> ipconfig/flushdns
*If nothing so far worked go and call your internet provider and tell them that you cannot open exactly this address: "infinitymu.net" Internet Service Providers sometimes block sites/ip address ranges by mistake and this is the most possible reason why your "Connect" button is missing.

If noone of those steps can help you, then follow those steps:

*Go to this website -> http://www.showmyip.com.ar/
*Copy and sent your IP Address to any of our Administrators -> RESiSTANT, and wait for their reply.


Problem N° 6:

- Hacks/Bugs detection

R:

Sometimes our client could take any program / process as possible hack, also he could detect any Virus as hack too, you can fix this problem in this way ->

- Lost account Info?

R:

Problem Nº 8:

- Game closes itself after few seconds:

If you're experimenting an problem like This , please follow those steps:

Click Apply, Click OK and restart the computer. After restart the game is running properly.

Problem Nº 10: Client Crashing!

If you client is crashing with Operating Systems Win7 and Win8, Here are some ways to fix it.

If your game client doesn't run please try the following solution:

For Windows XP Systems

1. Right click Main.exe
2. Click Run as Administrator
3. If windows confirmation box pops up please click YES

For Windows 7 Systems

1. Right click Main.exe
2. Click Properties
3. Click Compatibility Tab
4. Check the box "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
5. Choose "Windows XP (Service Pack 3)

For Windows 8 Systems

1. Update your Operating System to Windows 8.1

2. Setting Inbound Rule to the Firewall

Windows 8.1 Users, if your issue persist follow these steps:

1. Right click on the green launcher button
2. Press Troubleshoot Compatibility
3. Try Recommended Settings
4. A message showing " Windows Compatibility Mode : Windows 7 ", then press "Test the Program"
5. Then it would open the launcher but before pressing" connect to the game" Close it
6. Then right click on the launcher and "run as administrator" keep on repeating it 2-3 times then it should work smoothly.
Good luck to all users of windows 8 and 8.1 hope this helps.

If any of you can't launch properly the game please follow these steps:

Please download Speccy and post here the results about your PC: http://www.piriform.com/speccy
You must PM that info to RESiSTANT, or pm in skype -> resistant.bg . And he will find the right latest drivers for your pc. NVIDIA GPU users, just update to the latest GPU drivers and it'll be fine :).

This aims to Windows 7 users (32bit/64bit). Anyone who uses XP and Radeon and can't find any fix, you may ask them here.


Problem Nº12: Windows 10 Issues Fix:

Since microsoft realeased it's latest windows a lot of people became pretty excited and upgrade their operating system while others preferred to stay in the old version of windows like they say. New operating systems will have bugs for sure and errors until theres a new update available. And so microsoft did really impressed with their latest OS Windows 10. But right away after updating a lot of gamers experienced a lot of problems as well. Client won't open, the game doesn't run properly, while some with their luck had no problems xD.

So here are some solutions found that can help with your problems:

1. Run your client with the compatibility of windows XP service pack 3 (though it will automatically set your client to compatibility of windows XP service pack 3 when it won't work properly), Right click on the main.exe -> Properties -> Compatibility tab , and do it like this,

2. If ever number 1 doesn't work, make sure you still have your anti-virus working, because this time, we are going to turn off windows defender or add INFINITY MU client on the exclusions.

To turn off, Click on Windows button(Start) -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows Defender -> turn off/add client to exclusion


- Windows button(start) -> Settings -> Update & Security -> Windows defender -> turn off or add to exclusion (you can do either or both). If Real-time protection is turned on, click on the switch to turn off, scroll down and click add exclusions to exclude your client from being scanned and detected as malware.


3. If those doesn't work try to reinstall your client. Before installing it, make sure everything is deleted including registry files. As CLEAN uninstallation. You may use uninstallation application or programs like RevoUninstaller, CCleaner and etc.

4. If number 1, 2 and 3 doesn't work, try to restore your client to a date or a "previous version" where the game worked. To do this, right click on the green launcher -> properties -> previous versions -> click on a previous date/version available -> Restore

5. Some of those who have upgraded their OS to windows 10 can run their client the FPS becomes damn insane, becomes extremely lag. So for this make sure your Graphics card is compatible with your new operating system

- Make sure your graphics card is up to date. If you're about to install a new update, it will be for graphics card or for your system make sure you have created a system restore point so whenever after an upgrade something doesn't work fine, you can just restore your system to a previous version or date.

6. If none of these steps work and since there are some who made their clients work fine after upgrading, you may reinstall your operating system by going to Settings -> Update & Security -> Recovery -> Press get started in Reset this PC.
