There is a problem with the mu online game client that appear mostly on old computers but in case you experience such problem as hieroglyphics or some egyptian language. :)

First Option
Right click on desktop , proprieties, it will appear DisplayProprieties , click Appearence , and there you have the effects.
At "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts" you chose:
->Standard for normal monitors
->Clear Type for LCD's

Second Option
Go to Start->Settings->Control Panel->System->Select "Advanced" and there you select"Performance"->"Visual effects, processor scheduling, memory usage, and virtual memory"->Settings and you remove "Smooth edges of screen fonts"

This is just a follow up thread to RESiSTANT's thread

In that thread, the instructions on how to fix fonts/language/ problems by enabling clearType is being given. However his fix was for Windows XP. In this post, you will see the fixes for windows 7 and 8

What is clear type?
ClearType is a technology for displaying computer fonts so that they appear clear and smooth. ClearType makes on-screen text more detailed and, therefore, easier to read for long periods of time without experiencing eye strain and mental fatigue. It works especially well when you're using LCD devices, including flat-panel monitors, mobile PCs, and smaller hand-held devices.

How to Turn it on:
According to Windows it is on by default but if yours happens to be off than here are the instructions:

For Windows 7:

1. Open Appearance Settings by clicking the Start button
, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Window Color and Appearance. If the Appearance Settings dialog box is not displayed, at the bottom of the page, click Open classic appearance properties.

2. Click Effects.

3. In the Effects dialog box, select Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts.

4. Click ClearType in the list, and then click OK.

For Windows 8

1. Type in "Cleartype" on the Start Menu in Windows. Select the "Settings" option with the gear icon.

2. Click on the "Adjust Cleartype text" option when it appears on-screen.

3. Check the "Turn on Cleartype" box if it's not on already.

4. Click "Next" through each screen of the setup. This will involve selecting which box has text that is the most clear to you on your particular monitor.

5. Click "Finish" to complete the Cleartype setup process.

Note:
Whether you select Standard or ClearType from the list, you must have a video card and monitor that support a color setting of at least 256 colors. You'll get the best results with High color (24-bit) or Highest color (32-bit) support. You can change color quality in Display Settings in Control Panel.

May I request a Moderator to move this post on RESiSTANT's Original Thread so that it would be more organized and easier for players to find this.
