hi InfinityMU staff, guys!
i'm not mad, just a 'lil dissapointed.
just want to ask if all the events in forum that was not
active for almost a month got cancelled??
because i think it is unfair for others, like me, who
participated on those events hoping to win the prizes.
some of the participants waited late nights just to
participate on those events.
And, not all who hosted those events got inactive,
some of them is still online on forum, but he(host) said,
he got some problems with his PC that's why
he can't continue hosting the events..

Our LMOD probably deleted them because of inactivity, hosters became inactive for more than 14 days, also he introduced a new rule check here.
But I have to complain about one event, he didn`t forget about others event, instead he forgets about his event. Its deadline ends on 25th December.

Our LMOD probably deleted them because of inactivity, hosters became inactive for more than 14 days, also he introduced a new rule check here.

Jezebel is not inactive right? he just don't have PC right now, that's what he said, he was just using a tab. that's why he
can't continue the events for the mean time.

As I know he hasn't PC and he was inactive (he wasn't online 1 month or more, all can tell you this) and now he has PC.


You want Dimer to fix that new rule for events ? :O ...



Tell to us what you mean with this useless thread.

Jezebel's not totally inactive.. coz he's sometimes greets on CB..
and maybe,if some MODS are kind enough to consider this to
continue his events. thanks in advance.
so that our effort in joining forum events will not go to nothing.

Stop spamming the thread (sorry Di if im doing it to, but he´s annoying), the only thing im seeing on your reply´s its you trying to look badass.

Your comments are USELESS, he is just expressing a complaint about the closing forum events, as every player can do.

3. No Flaming. Try to be nice to one another. You will be warned and your warn level increased and eventually it will end up getting you banned. This is not a place to take out your aggressions. We mainly mean flaming other members. Flaming other members is unacceptable.

9. Respect. This is a separate one from flaming since it is the opposite side. I personally want to try and urge all members to try and help each other out and not degrade each other. Now I am not talking about flaming since that is more severe. I mainly mean when someone has a question don't tell them to use the search button. I want you to try and be helpful to each other. This isn't really a punishment here but more of me trying to urge people to help each other when they need it.

On Topic: I think that an event can be finished by staff members only if the maker of the event or a friend of his, says that he cant continue the event. But if they are inactive for weeks,months then the mod has the right to just end it.

I will explain it this way,forum events are not made to stay inactive,nobody who made this event has not said anything to me,why he can't take care of his event,neither he has made any request towards me to let someone from the staff to take care of the event,nor he talked with the Mods.

As it is explained in the rules, without saying anything to me,I will consider the event inactive and cancel it,the creator can always message me to reopen his event and it can continue,nobody said that it will be deleted.

I have not removed the event at all,I am just closing it and moving it.The user can always message me,explain things how they are,can he continue his event,but neither Jezebel nor anyone else told me ANYTHING,I am sorry but I am not a telepathic entity which reads minds.

A lot of people are making events and continuing them without being inactive and even if they are,they know our rules and come and tell the staff that he can't,it's easy as that.We cannot make exceptions to nobody,everyone is equal here,as long as it is acceptable and the rules are followed,we have no problem.
A lot of things are written for forum events,make sure that you understand them completely,I am not the only LMOD that has made any changes to the rules.

The rules are clear: The event is considered inactive if the user has not talked with the Moderators about being inactive for some time.

We are supposed to take care of each thread,it's not our fault that the creator has not come to us to talk about it.We are always making exceptions,helping each one with his problem,task and thread if he wants to.If he doesn't,then he doesn't care about our rules.They are not made to break.
I am sure nobody can complain of a lack of events.Every month the staff introduces a big amount of events,that are won by different people,so it's perfectly normal for some forum events to be closed for inactivity.

Understand,the forum is not different from the game - the creator of the thread bears responsibility of it,letting it go is his choice,but whatever happens after,is his responsibility alone.No one should be blamed for someone else's mistakes.

Don't worry,first there is something more to be done with the decision for this event,later I will inform you and our other participant
I didn't forget about it,it's just that nowhere I mentioned a date for the poll.

No harm done,no one hurt,no one offended.I think everything will be okay if it can happen in a civilized manner.We are always open for our forumers.Never hesitate to talk to us.
