Hello and welcome to this thread of mine. As most of you know, this is my second try to get in position of EM. Here is the thread where you can see the application and how it went.
For starters, now, when I re-read my application, the comments I got about it and so.. I understand why I got denied. I understood it then too, but now I am a bit ashamed to read that thread. But, from the bright side, you all helped me to improve myself on so many levels, because I actually did not know anything about this place. I knew just a few people here, I saw what was going on, but I actually was so new in game process and the things that are going on in forum. I did not think, that it was important, because I had (still have) my creativity skills. Then it was my weapon.
Now everything is different. I am very well known, at least that is what I think, because I just have to come in-game and if 1 player spots me or if I write something in post, word spreads so fast, that in few minutes I just have to host an event, because many people are asking me to do it. Feels great actually. I feel accepted now. As some people mentioned in my last application, I can do good things and help people without tag, only then I will prove that I actually want to help. And the events I hosted, they really helped me to improve myself at event hosting, because I had some small but crucial mistakes, people does not like that. Definately not my first time hosting events, but I just hadn't any chances to do it, so time took my knowledge about event hosting a bit. But now the knowledge is back, I know what infinitians like to do, I learned to be more patient than I have ever been. I really tried my best to improve myself as much as needed and a bit more even, to become an EM.
I could still host events with my game character, but there are two problems. First is that I have almost ran out of prizes to give, I have to keep 20w for event guess the infinitian, so I cannot give them away. And the second problem is traders. There are so many of them and it is impossible to host normal event at day hours. My posts get spammed away. But that is normal. I tried a solution for that - server 1, but when I call people from server 3 to server 1.. Well, last time only 9 people actually came. And I had to host event that was planned to be hosted for about 20 players. So I need global chat. Without global chat it is really hard to host events. But the best part is, that I have different time zone than most of the staff. My is GMT +2 and that means, that I will host events in a bit different times, so that is a big + for daily event coverage. And since there are only 2 EM's now, because of Insomniak's rotation to Test GM position, it feels like, that +1 EM is actually needed in my opinion and I am the one that really wants to be there.
Of course, I admit, that I still have one thing that should be done before I write an application. I need to be registered in forum for three months, but the sad part is, that I am not. But I hope, that most of infinitians have noticed my changes and what did I try to do to prove that I am ready to become an EM and to be helpful to this community despite the fact that I am still not registered here for three months.
