I have this problem that probably most of you have already encountered. I changed the options to 1024x720 and uncheck windows mode and still I have this black part on my screen. I want a really full screen when playing.

I've tried using the solution where I change the Graphic Options on desktop to Full screen but still the same problem occurs. What should I do?

Hello V1P3R,

In my experiences it's based on the graphics unit how the client looks in full screen mode when the game resolution doesn't match the display's resolution. Some stretches to fill the whole display, some shows the game window with black zones.

InfinityMu client supports the vcorp mod, which can let you set more resolutions (including wide screens), however as far as I know, this option is available only with Season 6, in Season 3 it is not available. :(

I will try to search some different method to fix your problem (if possible), and in the mean time you can use the game in windowed mode.

Yes, at the moment I'm using the windowed mode, but thanks anyway! Hope my problem will be fixed soon.

Hello,

Try to use 1280x1024 instead of 1024x768. Might work and you could have your full screen InfinityMU.

Good luck! :)

Haven't you tried all other options/resolutions yet?

I was searching for some solution for this problem, however sorry to say, I couldn't find any working solutions.

I found a really nice method, I created the patched game file(main.exe) to use 1366x768 screen resolution based on the instructions, but couldn't test it out, since the game guard automatically restores the original client files on start. That's a pity for this nice method. :/

I could find a similar thread here on forums too which is located here, and there is one method suggested in the latest post, which say setting to 800x600 with fullscreen may can help. (but imho it's useless)

Hahahahahaha, the ultimate problem solver "reformat".

Dendi, please don't be ridiculous, most of the problems(90%) easily can be solved without reformatting/touching system files.

This current problem is more related to the video driver itself (and may to the OS too). Under Windows 7 I had the same that the photo describes above with my laptop (Intel integrated GPU), but under Windows 8.1 I have the game window in the left upper corner with transparent background, see:

Yeah, "reformat" solves everything.

Sorry for the offtopic. I understand you, but you also should to understand if you post to a problem, people will get as a suggestion, as "lets try, might help me" solution for their problem, and automatically apply everything that posted.

Reformatting a PC may causes more damage (mostly to user data) than advantages, such radical methods should to be avoided [especially when there is high percentage that it won't help].

You know, this thread is not about collecting ideas about some problems, this thread is to solve a certain problem.
