I do not play the game so if the server itself is lagy I do not know.

But...

Are you sharing your net connection with someone else? If so, that would be a reason for lag.

Are you downloading something via torrent or some other programs? If so, that would be a reason for lag.

Are you listening music from youtube or some other places? If so, that would be a reason for lag.

No so sure, but if your computer is an old one, running other programs along with your mu client can also slow your PC.

If you are using wireless, being far away from the net thingy can also cause lags.

One or multiple things above can cause lags.

Also the net company thing you have a contract with may also be responsible for lags for running a slow net.

You can try anti-lag patches, if there is any in here / follow the advices above both mine and Mr.LosT's / also lowering the + item options thingy through your ingame options pannel may also help.

Sorry, this is as far as I can help giving ideas without really playing the game.

Hello there i am here to share my opinion , with your problem i experience it yesterday and when i check my Internet connection is low. And when i use wtfast it's so lag , and when i contact the admin on our net it is now fast. And now i can use wtfast with no lag in game. Try to contact the admin of your internet , ask them why your internet is so slow. Or maybe you did not pay your monthly bill just wanna share. Btw it may help you.

Check the task manager and see what application/s it's consuming your CPU or HDD., and close it.
If it's from MU, try to change the compatibility mode to XP Service Pack 3 or Windows 2000.

Close any 3rd party programs,connected to the internet,they will eat up your bandwidth and big lag spikes will occur.

if your computer is good, the game shouldn't lag.. probably is your internet connection.
if you are using router and play MU via (wi-fi) it will be laggy , ofc it depends on your router model..
so check the internet connection..
