[HELP]With GPU and Driver(NEED PRO PEOPLE)

good day i need pro people to give me suggestions or tips or show me guide or link or give me help in dealing with my problem. I need the latest gpu or driver for geforce fx go5200! i tried downloading from some site, then it made my grahpics very bad! i need great help because ever since this problem i am un able to play infinity mu. T_T
This is my Spec:

OS: XP professional
System: Toshiba Satelite m30
bios: Version 1.0
processor: Intel Pentium R 1600MHZ
RAM: 510MB
direct X: DX9.0
V.CARD: Geforce FX Go5200

now it says that i have no graphic card installed. T_T
i am currently running on stock V.card because of my stupidity in trying to update without proper knowledge of computers. Now i have very very bad graphics! please i need help have mercy on me.

PITY ME! I need PRO PEOPLE FOR HELP!

A step by step tutorial on how to install the latest driver/gpu for Geforce FX go5200 would be great and appreciated! If possible teach me how to use Forceware instead since i read that it is best as of now but i do not know or have idea on how to download it.

Once you're done, reboot your computer and run InfinityMU again.

Do not download your driver from 3rd party websites. Make sure it comes from legitimate websites like nvidia itself.

Check the image that i've posted. Does it help you?

EDIT: I called a friend, and apparently, your problem isn't as simple as it seems. Normal nvidia drivers will not work because your graphic is a Go5200. A GO card is basically a "default" laptop graphics card, and you'll need another driver for it to work. I'll see what I can find.

CosmoZ man, sad to say that the drivers you are recomending to me does not support "GO" drivers. T_T Thank you for the help attempt anyway! you are a big help even if it did not solve my problem.

To anyone who knows about this kind of stuff, i need help bad!! please help me!!!! i really want to play MU again. T_T show me mercy man!

1] download nviia forceware drivers http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_71.89.html

2] run the installation

3] you will be asked about directory where to extract drivers (default: C:\NVIDIA\Win2KXP\71.89) – remember this directory !!

4] continue with installation, it will end with message “Drivers are not compatible” .. or something like that … now do not press ok !!!

5] using explorer or any file manager copy everything in the directory (3]) to any other – new one (ie.: C:\newdriver)

6] now you can end installation (4]) presing ok button

7] download this file:
http://home.zcu.cz/~cnainee/temp/nv4_disp.inf

and copy to (ie.: c:\newdriver) directory – you will be asked if you wish to replace original file – answer yes

8] ok, now you have pathd drivers so go to: start->controlpanel->system->hardware->devicemanager->displayadapters->Nvidia geforce go 5200->properties->updatedriver->no, not this time->instal form specific location->browse – and select your directory (c:\newdriver) … and continue with wizard

magedragon, thank you for this. this would have been very help ful but sad to say that my V.card is so old that nvidia could not detect it. the auto scan said this

"The NVIDIA Smart Scan was unable to evaluate your system hardware. Please use Option 1 to manually find drivers for your NVIDIA products."
Any way thank you for the help attempt =)

It did not work =jayvee= it said that the product is not compatile with my hardware T_T anyway thak you for the help

Read this link for remote assistant. You'll need to install skype.

Do a reboot and run your nvidia card under device manager/display adapter. Remember to update it as well.

Now do you see this page? (Driver name should Nvidia in your case)
