Everyone knows, that MG/DM is good looking bastard, but he is so weak.. BK/BM and DL/LE are the dominators of PvP, SM/GM and ME/HE, are defenders, impossible to kill, their buffs does miracles. We all know that. But where does that leave MG? In the pit with all other needless stuff? My MG is in full Uber, he has the best things that any MG can have, but I die from full BK in 1 - 2 seconds. And I can't kill full BK. Of course, if he is writing for 4 seconds, then I have a chance of killing him, but then I must run fast and far not to get killed when he rises from the dead. MG has less than 0 privileges. With all possible buffs, yeah, maybe he can do something, I have heard stories of MG just destroying pets. But I don't think, that it has to be his only advantage, considering that SM is probably way better at destroying pets. Where am I going with this? I want MG to be upgraded, balanced in the PvP. He is a mix of BK and SM, we all know that. But he does not have any buff. So I would love him to have one of these skills and I know that it is possible, I have seen it being done. I added a poll to see what spell do you think would be best for him, Mana Shield or Greater Fortitude. Maybe that is not the only option to fit MG in the PvP, but as far as I know, this way is far more possible than others, because others may actually ruin the balance of PvP, not improve it. And I don't call for any other balances ov PvP, because Elf and SM already has purpose, MG hasn't, so he is the only one, that is why I don't want to see any questions and suggestions in this thread regarding any other classes. Feel free to suggest something else for MG, but make sure, that it is possible and what do you know, maybe it will be done.

and there are so many BK/BM online an MG could get swell from..

i have thought of suggesting this but the thought of my BK getting killed by an MG is too much for me to take...XD...


well if im not wrong more balanced pvp was done on server 4...MG and all other classes were balanced so we can just apply same thing on server 3...

I would also agree on Mana Shield since there are a lot of bk's in-game to get swell in a party but rarely a sm online,if a MG has mana shield a lot of people would like to have one in their party

I voted for mana shield for the same reason as Kwait-low SM count online but i am not sure this can be done. I will put in some more research about this.

It can be done, I know it, there is no need for research. I have seen Greater Fortitude being added to MG, so Mana Shield wouldn't be problem either.

I voted for Mana Shield to proved that MG is not for farming only ... Hes out of place when its called pvp for those who hate MG in Pvp to be in PK guild. MG is good but the hp/defenses is not good. So I prefer MG to have a good buff . All characters except MG are used in PVP because of Active buffing. So why not give a chance to MG

You should edit poll and have a 3rd choice of like "stay as it is" cause with this poll is like server oughts to upgrade him, some ppl might want MG to be as he is. And other people see MG as a farming character for grand resets.I don't want MG with MS for sure cause then if u have uber+ms+SD on uber +swell from BK's that always exists, SM goes on recycle bin,then a new thread for SM upgrade. And MG FO+ms will kill BM FO+swell and u know that.

MG can always party someone and have same effect, so why not to add at least swell to him? Okay, he might be farming character, but I don't want to get killed around every corner because I don't have enough HP to survive BK or DL attack. Nobody is going to stay in party all the time. MS may actually cause MG to replace SM, I couldn't disagree, but what harm does swell do? MG doesn't have enough power to just kill everyone he wants. I have full Uber and I am getting thrown around by Uber BK's like a bug, because I hate the "not so honest" fighting with all buffs, I fight alone, and I never go 2 v 1, I just want a fair fight for fun. But right now I can do that only with other MG's. If I had swell I could try fighting BK's and DL's. That is the logic under this. Swell for MG wouldn't cause BK to be used more rarely, because BK is way stronger. Even if MG had MS.. He is more powerful than SM that is for sure, but SM has other advantages that MG doesn't have. I don't see any advantages on MG in PvP atm, so that is why he should have at least something that would make him last more than few seconds in fight. But anyway, that is your opinion and you can stick to it, I am just explaining why I did not include possibility of leaving MG as it is.

If MG get BK swell, will he be overpowered? If you have MG, get swell from BK and try to be overpowered.. About MS I could agree, but about swell hell nah.

i prefer for mg have swell, fair enough, its a swell only guys, take note BK can combo while MG cant, and u cannot please anyone who have bk's to buff MG.

Not to be a very bad, sassy, smart-hiney party-pooper, but I do think MG is balanced as of now.

Yeah, the guy can be overpowered by a fully-buffed BM, with both of them receiving the same buffs (Life Swell/Inner Strength, Soul Barrier/Mana Shield, Divine Damage and Divine Defense, and Increased Crit), but please don't forget the facts.

Sure, BM's DPS comes from his Energy-to-Skill Damage percentage (that includes how much bonus HP he gains when he Swells), but MG has no such ratio. Instead, he, as a literal mix of SM and BM (Magic Gladiator, geez lol), can utilize micro better, as he can hit from afar. A little harass of PowerSlash here, (normal) Ice spell (not Ice Storm, since that's SM only) there for immobility, and then go on debuffing the foe with Fire Slash, and repeat process. MG's are actually the most annoying class in PvP if you think about it hard enough.

The sweel could work, i've seen Mgs with Mana shield+Sweel+ Death stab skills in some old 97d customized server,and it was pure cancer

But only the swell alone could work.
