Overclocking a PC violates a game rules?

An overclocked pc can be detected by our gameguard? Im just wondering since the second party programs and mainly the cheat engines or speedgear are blocked by our gameguard, is AMD overdrive allowed to run or it needs to be disallowed since it can be use to overclock a pc. I hope this thread help's in fair game.

Overclocking does not break any rule nor considered as hack.
you should not have any problem using such program while playing the game.
