Problem installing.

I was trying to install the game with my laptop which is a windows vista ((is that the problem? it aint compatible with vista? )) :arghh:
But it goes fine with out other desktops tho. -XP ones.

Here's what happens:
It doesnt finish the install.
the install bar ratio is like this:

(pardon me if im just using symbols. i dont feel like posting an img here xD)
but as you can see,it doesn't even reach the half of the bar. then it proceeds to the last phase where it asks me if i want to []launch Infinity MU. ofcourse it wont work because the install wasnt completed at all. i tried several times but it just happens over and over again.


i wonder if there's a solution to this problem.. [ and i dont even know what the problem is.] lmfao.

i think it's a restriction from your internet connection...

/moved to Tech Support

turn off Fire-Wall & Anti-Virus,delete InfinityMU Folder,and then redownload and reinstall the client
Click Here To Download The Client.
after done install run the client As Admin,right click on the InfinityMU Shortcut on your desktop and click on "Run as administrator"

@mageDragon : I have already downloaded the installer. i had just transferred it from one of our desktops

This happened to my laptop, well because it was full of viruses. Try cleaning, re - download installer and install, make sure Infinity is allowed in your firewall and windows security

Solution for your problem:

I think the reason that your installer stops in one place of the installation process is that you haven't downloaded the game client successfullly. Your downloader might show it's downloaded at 100%, but it sometimes are bugged. Our installation package is big: 429 MB. Check if this is true.

This must work for you: Download InfinityMU Client from GameFront Host as RAR Archive: http://www.gamefront.com/files/20820011/InfinityMU.rar (402.87 MB)

UnRar it to any place and run MU.EXE. I'm sure it will work. If still not work try to run mu.exe as administrator.

Thanks for the opinion sir, but the installer we've downloaded is just 417 MB.. but it works fine,i mean reallly fine with all of our desktops(we let people rent it)

During the install, we always detect a virus at some part but my sister says it's just natural..lol.. and yes, the game launches well..

But when i transferred the installer and tried to install to my laptop that's what happens-it wont finish.. i dunno, maybe it's because of the virus (?) .. i dont know if there's a solution of some kind :X3:
