Try right-clicking on the actual Setup.exe and selecting the "Run As Administrator" option? Do so even if your user is an Admin.

I have windows 7, 64bit, ultimate editon and I don't have such problem. Try to redownload the client using some download manager such Flashget or Internet Download Manager. You can check these in google.

Hello,

I play on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I have no problems whatsoever. I think I know the cause of that problem, mainly is the antivirus that, in my opinion, as soon as you download the client it gets blocked and then makes it not accessible because the antivirus check it as "virus" or "suspicius executable".
Try turning off your real-time antivirus, re-download the client and open it again. It should work.

Im Using Win7 64 bit. I didn't experience such error in my Current OS. Try to Right Click the Icon, Properties>Open File Target. Make sure that it is directly linked to the Game directory folder. If not, Try to re-install. Anti-Virus might also affected your Installation.

Maybe your prob is in your Window 7. Me also is using window 7 for playing InfinityMU, But not experiencing this kind of problem. Try to see if your Window7 is working fine. Did you just upgrade you window? Or you both a PC in a Window 7 format. Sometimes other people just upgrade there window in a window7 format and having some issue. Update it here when you read this one :)
