Dear RESiSTANT, Admins, staff members, and infinitians
I am writing you this Formal letter as a sign of good will. I am still new to infinityMU but you can tell from my activity bar that i am active. I love this server and i do not want it to just die because of lack of players due to a low ranking in the top server polls/ballots. I would like to suggest to the staff of Infinity to change the way we vote.
I know most of you will say ; "Why change the voting system? It is perfect the way it is!" . FALSE!!! It is only perfect for those who are lazy to write the captcha and are just voting for credits/rewards!
Truth be told about 80% of us are only voting for the event and credits. among the 80% about 60% do not write the captcha since credits are awarded even if you don't provide the captcha.
This means that credits are given away to players who's votes did not count in the official balloting for top mu servers. Thus, declining this server's position in the rankings as those who did not write the captcha still recieve the vote point rewards.
I suggest that you try to change the voting system/program
where in the hyperlinks have a counter below them which indicates how more hours they have to wait to vote again. The voting system/program of the provided game also does not give vote point rewards to those who do not write the captcha. The voting system/program of this server should block, negate, avoid and prevent the awarding of vote points to those who do not write the captcha. Therefore boosting the chance of ensuring the position of the game at the top spots.
If this type of voting system/program is applied, then all the credits given would not be wasted given to players who's votes did not count in the official balloting.
If this type of voting system/program is applied, all votes Will definitely count!
This will ensure our server's spot at the top.
I am open for clarifications, questions, interrogations, further comprehension.
