(SUGGESTION) Concern about Infinity Idol

Hello everyone!

I'd like to suggest something which regards one of the most sought after events here in forum.
I'm talking about the Infinity Idol event.

Basically,
Aspiring participants will only have to take a picture of him/herself holding a note which includes his/her forum name and the phrase title "Infinity Idol".

Oftentimes, entries are judged according to the attractiveness of the player without taking into consideration the effort being exerted. However, there is actually no particular guidelines on how to exert 'effort' in the event.

Anent, I would like to suggest the following:

* Add a monthly theme.
For example, this month's most apt theme is Christmas.

* Improvise criteria for judging.
30% - Over-all relevance to the theme
30% - Creativity (Note, Props & Background)
30% - Appearance (Looks)
10% - X-Factor (Uniqueness & Impact)
100%

I hope my suggestion is not too much.
I also think that SMOK shouldn't be easily given away.
It should be imperative for players to exert effort to obtain such expensive item.

I couldn't agree more. Plus, this would help the judges to actually judge better and not just about looks.

As you might know, the winner of the event comes out from a poll that is beeing made in Staff section. Each member of the staff votes wisely the entry he liked more. About the prize, i'm okey with it since it will attract more players to join as it happens with Monthly PK event. Personally i wouldn't make any changes to the event, it seems okay to me.

RESiSTANT already brought up this problem with the staff a few months ago. He explained to us clearly we should judge based on certain criteria which I'll list below, I don't believe staff judge people based on just physical attractiveness at least if you check the polls for all our events they put why they voted and how that person deserves it over the rest, basically following the criteria that the boss told us to follow.

I think what you want is to make the event a little more special such as themes, cause the current criteria is very similar to what you suggested and also putting a % on judging is a bit hard to do, I mean how will you calculate those points? Her hottness level is 5? Hello Sir Wayne.
I don't have any problem with Sarmayee. He's a friend of mine in real life and we actually go in the same school.
The current criteria for judging is actually my first suggestion to Sir RESi. Also the publication of the polls.
I love this event so I'm suggesting something to make it better. I know it's already good but if we'll add more twists in it like theme, I think it will be way better.

Whether or not you take this suggestion into consideration, it's up to you. =)

Sarmayee and I actually talked about having our entries with a theme- cosplay.
As you can see, we had the same concept.

I agree with this one is just like our event of gfx SOTM or Signature of the Month. This theme your talking about is good. so +1 to me!

Hello and thank you for your suggestions regarding on how to improve our community.
However, the 10% of uniqueness is something that we already have , since every entry is unique and one of a kind.
What we will change from now on is the following: If someone votes and doesn't give a proper explanation that follows the criteria adjusted & announced by RESiSTANT, first he/she will be warned and second time, the right to vote will be taken away from that user.
