[Suggestion]Server 5

Hi,

I'd like to say here one suggestion for all Europeans players from here. As most of you know we have got one EU server and it's server7. The server is almost empty all day long, just rarely i see someone there at arena fighting. But let's get to point, all the 5 servers are hosted at USA, but we EU players would like to suggest to move at least server 5 to EU host. At least once a week we would play with good pings and would really enjoy the game as much as possible. Thing is like that even we have the EU server, 90% of EU players play on server3. I know most of you won't agree on that, but try to think of that. I don't know what else to add, but I assume it's enough.

I agree with this suggestion because in CS there`s alot of EU players who don`t try to hack like other people and will be fair for all players will have the same portrate. Great Suggestion. Keep it up!

Yeah It's good idea to move SV 5 to EU host i mean 1 Week for USA & 1 Week for Europe because will be equal & fair for everyone, but do you mind resi will be changing hosting every week? I don't think so. Probably can be moved monthly, but there's the security problem because our Europe Host doesn't have a good security like USA and we can be a target for DDoS.


@EU Players: Months ago you all were mad because server was moved to USA and your pot rate decreased a lot, right? Then resi added SV 7 - Europe Host, only for you but it is always ALONE, most of users there stay AFK, or rarely times in Stadium 2-3 fighting, right? So there's no sense, because resi's expending money there for nothing lol, most of you are always in Server 3-4.

To close Server 7, why? Because noone play there . Plus if resi close Server 7, then he can expend that money in another host much better and equal for everyone, like he said.

I didn't say that resi should change the server host every week/month, you missunderstood. But with closing server 7 I have to agree.
and Server 5 should be just the one EU server.

I like the suggest just to be fair to others but for Me I am an an American players I dont even have good ping on server 5 and at CS eventhough its hosted in USA I still experience crazy lag then if the host will be moved i dont know ^^ then we know CS will be Packed of Players and thats gonna be stupid lag for me.

Everytime I go to server 7 I see it's empty, very rarely I see 1-2 people on and from what I know it's expensive to host any kind of server so imagine the money being pumped into sv7 and rarely anyone is on there. Really I think 90% of European players are in server 3, sometimes I ask players like #Notoriouz to fight in sv7 but he refuses saying it's boring there.

I agree with Wrathbinge on removal on sv7, so the money can be reallocated towards helping the server in other ways. Also @ the CS idea, I feel your pain, before I would always play on European hosts and wish they would move it closer to me for once but as you know majority of players have better connection now on USA, host if you moved to Euro host everyone else would experience a lot worse lags.

Well, to be honest, at the moment I don`t think that any EU player will care if server 7 be closed or not. Because, USA or PH players can't know that, we EU players cant enjoy to fight against EU player. Think of it, 10 pots/sec vs 10 pots/sec, battle lasts forever :-D It ends in like 5-10 minute if you are good on combo. But if 2 side keeps TSing, no one will die. That's why we need to wear off some parts and it is sux Thats why we joined to the server 3. Now, It doesn`t matter for us that, if we will die in server 3, because of our low pots. We just want the battle overs faster. So we deal to play in server 3. But it would be cool, at least only server 5 was for EU. And we are even agree to close server 7, since it is useless, no one entering there. USA+PH player much more than EU players, so it will not be a big problem to win EU in server 5, since they are many. But it is very hard for us to win them in server 5, since we are not that much and with this potting we got really less chances to win.

If EU (server 7) is full with players we can think to have server 5 as trial period hosted in EU. Until then I don't think that EU population really wants server-5 hosted somewhere in EU. As you guys think it's boring in server-7 it will be closed within few days. It's not problem to keep it in case someone still enjoying there or just newbie players leveling up there.

So why you all argued to get this server in Europe if nobody play there?


About PH / South American Player won't have the same ping, when server was hosted in Europe for more than 5 years our ping was always +150 / 200 (Even with WTFast) + tons of lagg, and our pot rate 1-3 per sec. Also we don't count with a faster Internet connection like European player does.


So do not say that one day we will feel like Europe players feel right now, because we have feel it for more than 5 years .

Think on both sides, they aren't asking for your kidney or lungs, they are asking for 1 server Europe host only, it's not a riddiculous request in my opinion but we have to look at the pros and cons, and to me it seems s5 being European host can be bad for majority of people but personally I don't mind because from what I saw in CS, most players, both European, Phil, Canadians etc. etc. can last even wearing full SD, since they have full buff so it's not a huge problem regarding host.

increase their net connection Niki and I have some opposite opinion as far as i know EU players pot rate in USA server is 4-5 EU players 3-4 for PH players.

/Disagree with suggestion... Why 5 Server?
Beeing honest Host of EU must be in server 3. Because host was always be in EU. USA and PH players didnt even complain it for 5 years. There wasnt even theme of it. After server hosted in USA, USA and PH players started to call everything unfair. RESiSTANT I know that you can do it but you are not doing. If server 3 not possible, then make server 4 in EU host....

We don't ask server3, because 5 years we were in advantage, I get it. But we just ask 2hours once per week to be good for us nothing else when u wanna get my point of this thread? I feel PH players too, I don't care about server3, it's good as it is.
