There are people who are very trustable on the others guys... to the certain point that if them want them accounts... them will give it.

And later they'll be hacked by the same guys who asked for the accounts... Well, I would say if Ventsi could make some kind of button or whatever that can disconnect the account from the Web (InfinityMu.net) so, with that... many guys who are being hacked for other ones.. will can save them account.. and change fastly his password. Maybe they'll lost some items, but is better to lose 1 or 2 things than the whole account.

The best way of avoiding hack of accounts, it´s never share them. We always encourage you to don´t share your accounts with anyone, but many of you do it despite of our warnings.

Your account and the items in it, are your responsability. And if someone have your password and want to steal your items, i doubt that our staff can be act so quickly like to prevent the lost of them, and this would cause complaints against us like: "I´ve reported my problem 2 hours ago and nobody have disconnected this guy, now i´ve lost my items so it´s administration´s fault", and so.

I don´t think this would be good, sorry.

It is just a suggestion. And I'm agree with Wrath too, but cmon guys... We all know that there are people who doesnt read the rules... But it's ok..

Seems i haven´t understood you. Do you mean a button to logout from every active session of your account? For example if your account is logged in in 2 pcs at the same time and if you press that button, you´ll close the session in both places?

Maybe would be good, but our rules says clearly that you are the only responsible for your account.

Of course it can! You can´t do that in game but yes in the website. You can be logged in your account from two pc´s at the same time like in forums

I give my account, and now I'm being hacked IN-GAME.

Well, I go to website and a Click Button ''Dissconect account from the server'' Or whatever. I hope you understand it now.

This could be useful, althought Resi has no obligation to do it since we clearly encourage the not sharing of the accounts.

Sorry I don't even 1% support this suggestion. Why? I know this button would be abused and,

The fundamental rules say not to share your account. If you're going to ignore our rule / warning then well it's your fault if you get scammed. Why put yourself in that position to get tricked? To me it's like you're telling us you will be scammed by a pilot / friend and you're asking for us to help you break the rules / warnings....

I think my point is clear but to add this would create a sh*tload of problems.

As you know you can change the account password without confirmation from email so in that short time they could have stolen all your items the time it takes you to change your password, use the disconnect button etc.

150% disagree and I think Euge's first reply was correct.

I would know why this button should be ''abused'' It would be stupid. If I'm in-game is obvious I won't use the button. But If I'm being hacked is obvious too that I will use it.

Don't you think rather then all this hassle you could idk maybe not share you're account with other people? Specially if you're assuming they WILL hack you in the future..the way you're talking is "I will share my account, they will try stealing my items, i will dc them, i wont be hacked".

Also how will you know they are hacking you? They will PM you saying "hey I want to hack you today muahaha"?

Bottom line is, if you share your account you risk being hacked, scammed, fooled, tricked, just don't do it bro .

You've been hacked 4 times but still didn't learn not to give out your password to people. I won't participate in this thread anymore because I can't understand why you would suggest it while you can't learn from your mistake 4 times of trusting people.

Also to add it seems like you're just making this suggestion for yourself, no hacker will tell you "im scamming you" thats why i think this suggestion is useless. sorry if i sound a little harsh but its the cold hard truth, take care of your account by following the rules, their here to help and protect you not harm you. See you didn't listen "not to share your account" and now you are hacked 4 times, consequences.

I think this suggestion is very useless at all. Before someone starts playing a game, he read the rules. One basic rule here in InfinityMU is to protect and do not share your account information. Having a pilot in your account it's your own risk, but personally i do not even trust my own ass. For those who are asking for your account information, you can simply report them and they will get punished. About the fake websites for free credits who are made by some no lifers, and they want to scam silly people, you can report them too. About keyloggers, well before you write down some personal info in a computer no matter if it's a game account or something, make sure that the computer is safe and there's no way to get scammed.

Reading the rules is a player's responsibility. The game rules is not really 3 pages. It's clear that you don't know the rules xD

This is becoming a discussion about who reads or doesn´t read the rules and is not the idea.

Despite of that, we can´t accept a suggestion that benefits those who don´t follow the rules. I thought better and it´s really useless. We can´t say don´t share accounts for one side, and having this button for the other.
