switch character to DC

hi there. this started to happen few days ago. i've noticed that every time i try to switch character, then click the character i wanna log in with, i get dc. the client automatically closes. could this matter be fixed? thanks in advance.
 
thanks for the guide. one more question. wont that affect the operation of the other games installed on the computer? im just using my friend's laptop and he plays some other online games so i dont wanna mess with that.

From my experience, it wont be that much of an effect. I have that setting as well and i play various of games. If the laptop got affected, you should probably just change the setting if you're going to play MU.

BTW, did that fix your problem?

hello dudes and dudettes. i've done what the guide said. at first it went well. but then again, i get DC when i go switch character. any other remedy for this matter? it will be greatly appreciated. thank youuu.

done. i will try later after ds to see if something changed. thanks for the link again.

UPDATE:

well, the results didn't went as planned. it became even worst. before, i still have a chance to select one other character. now, everytime i click the "switch character" button, client instantly closes. should i undo the changes that i made?

Same problem and it doesnt fix the problem. It even brings another problem that I saw yesterday on cs which I couldnt enter the inside where crown locates. It automatically closed my client. So i just rechecked "read only" and it solved. So another solution must be found.

yes i've already done that. i told my friend in game about the problem. he said he had the same issue before. he told me that it will be ok soon, just dont mind it and bear with it for the mean time.
