[Tech Support] ''Main has stopped working...''

This is the error that I get everytime I try to start Infinity's MU launcher. I've tried updating it without patching it, I've tired different compatibility, run as administrator, updating DirecX, Network frame, shutting off my firewalls+AntiViruses without any success.

Help would be very appreciated.
 
Maybe some of ur data in folder was deleted. Or incomplete download, try to re-download the client again and delete the old folder :)
 
1. Make sure that you have DirectX 9, if you are using Windows Vista or 7 then update the DirectX to 11.
2. Make sure you're up to date (that you have your mu updated with your MU Updater).
3. Make sure that none of your programs are using the game's files.

If this doesn't work, then I don't know...
 
Does your computer meets the requirments? (system) When you start the game does the white window pop-up?
 
When you press Connect, does the MU Window (Loading Screen) Pops up?
 
I believe your computer is at risk. You got virus / malware in it. Since main.exe crashes some process auto injects to main.exe while you are trying to connect. (usually viruses does that).

Try to clean it with NOD32 or Kaspersky Pure.
 
Everything pops up, it's just that it says main has stopped working.
 
Something must be wrong with your computer then, or maybe some kind of program is blocking the main file. Try to think what kind of program could be using MU files and close it.
 
I scanned the whole computer with various anti-malwares and what not, found 124 infected items.

Redownloaded the game and tried starting it now, with no success.

What program could be blocking MU? I dunno, My bet is that it is the Muguard that is causing the problem.
 
Just Re-Format your PC.

Try it. I assure you it will work 100%.
 
Same happens to me. My Pc is 100% safe and scanned. i use Windows 7 32-bit. i just downloaded the client. i believe its because of the Windows. H E L P needed. thanks lol. BTW im back xD
 
You can try to download again from clients, what windows do you use? if 7 or need to update the view direx if you have not, there are also occasions where when you install the mu and have the antivirus-on, detects it as a virus and then remove things certain given as error, that happened me one time not updated for this case i need to download the client again.
 
no thank you lol . i have stuff witch i cant back up LOL. any other solutions? i wanna play lol
 
To both of you:
Boot in safemode, then do a full scan of your files! (Also Boot Scan is useful)
Check your Anti-Virus logs to see if any of the Client files have been deleted or moved to the chest.

Also if installed in /C then move the installation to your Main Drive, and try running it from there!

Looks like a virus to me!

it is Main.exe problem. coz i started an episode 3 (other server, other client) main.exe and it worked... so.. :P
 
There is enormous difference between InfinityMu and anyone else client! They are not using the same Anti-Cheat (Our one responds to/or any processes that might inject in the main.exe process while trying to run! Also uninstall a program that you recently installed (Before this problem occurred) and use CCleaner to clear the registry and re-install the client and run it).
