Unable to play full screen

Hi,

I am not able to play the game at full screen even if i unchecked the window mode.

I am using a 29" monitor with 2560 x 1440. Is there any way to play full screen for that?

I changed my monitor setting to 1028 x 768, but the problem is still there.

Try to change your screen resolution to 1280x1024, it might work with full screen. Otherwise, you can use windowed mode when launching the game?

The game is suitable for 4:3 monitors, I have tried to search for a method that allows the game to go be suitable to 16:9 monitors, but there is just nothing you can do. There will always be black edges. Maybe I am mistaken and there is some method. If there is, please let me know.

So there are no ways to resolve that?

As far as I know, game is not suitable for 16:9 screens. It was made in the age of 4:3 screens so it was suitable for them. Game is old, I don't think, that there is any possibility. I have heard rumors about making the game fullscreen for 16:9 monitors, but never have seen it happen, basically every player here plays on windowed mode.

If there are black screens while you're in full screen mode(but it's still on fullscreen), there is a display setting about that. Not sure what your GPU is but check the setting on the display part. There should be a scaling part there and choose "Maintain aspect ratio" plus check the override application settings. That's how it works for intel. I think there are options on nvidia like "Scale fullscreen". Just try the options one by one.

EDIT: I tested playing in fullscreen and there are black bars around the game. 1280x1024 is the game resolution and monitor resolution is 1980x1080. I managed to fix. I ran it in fullscreen by changing the setting into "Scale fullscreen" in my intel graphics control panel.

I can't take a picture of my monitor+game, since i don't have a camera. But this worked for me. Monitor is 22". It's smaller than yours but i wish that this method will work for ya.
