Problem with game launch. main.exe not working

first of, I have read the sticky thread about the most frequest client problems and solutions so please don't redirect me there.

I keep getting this

whenever I try to click the "Connect" button of the launcher. no problems with the updates whatsoever.
I already tried doing:
Re-installing the game
Adding the main.exe and mu.exe in the exception of the firewall
Disabling the firewall
Disabling the anti-virus
Adding the whole InfinityMU folder to the exclusions of my anti-virus
Restarting my pc
welps. none of them worked. if anyone else has a solution then I'd like to hear it.

Hmm, then try this one

Open Start Menu, then look for the Computer > Right click and select properties > Advanced system settings > Settings (performance) > Go to Data Execution Prevention.
When you go on Data Execution Prevention just click on the Add button and find your main.exe
After you add your main.exe there just click OK to save and try to start the game again.. if it still not working try to run as administrator or restart your PC.

after a while the game worked normally. I already created a character and all.
the only question now is if this thing's gonna be a problem in the future?

Try to download the MSVCR100.dll file here >> http://gamesboxchannel.blogspot.com/2014/01/download-and-fix-msvcr100dll-error.html

Then, extract it to your C:\Windows\System32

No, I don't suggest to download any single files from unknown sources. That MSVRC100.dll is part of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Runtime. I rather suggest to download and install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) .
