Uber Set Change...

well since uber set transfer is not possible i want to suggest uber set change if its possible to do it...
cause for me the only reason a player would want to sell an uber set from his/her account is cause they want to change it to another uber...
like for example someone want to change their main character from DL to BK but they only have DL uber set and dont have enough money or items to buy a new uber set then their only option is to sell their DL uber set via transfer and buy a BK uber set but now its no longer possible...
of course uber set change tax just like on the via transfer would be present to avoid abusers...
$10 for every uber set with free uber wep change...
$5 for 1 or pair uber wep...


so it would go like this...e.g...
IGN:Lelouch please change my uber browii set to uber vicious set DDR...
pay tax and wait for RESiSTANT to do it...

Because if you wanna say that, well, I wouldn't be so agree since how you said not everyone has money to pay, so I'd recommend that each player has the right to change his/her Uber set 2 times (or 3,4, even 1 time, depending on the admin decision) per month obviously for free, because if its unlimited the higher staff won't rest and they're not robots xD for me that still better

Twice a month is just as good as unlimited...and as ive mentioned its a replacement of the uber transfer so the presence of the tax cannot be avoided...
And the tax is one way of supporting our server...and is the only way to avoid abusers...

From the players side i think that this suggestion will make them more happy and they will enjoy much more playing here, using different kind of uber sets for pvp and all these stuff, because i am also a player & donator and i am sure that i will enjoy it as well.

But to be honest, this is the one side, the other one it has do to with Administration and especially RESiSTANT. As you all might know he runs and manages 3 different servers (InfinityMU High Exp, InfinityMU Low Exp and InsaniaMU) our sister server. Running those servers is not an easy job, believe me, you need to pay a lot of money for dedicated host and anti cheat system as far as i know and also spend a lot of your free time time in order to keep everything running properly. All i wanna say is that if this suggestion will be approved, the amount of donations will become lower and lower from time to time and as a result, RESiSTANT will have to spend more money to keep them alive with latest updates.

As an conclusion i will say that we, the players, should keep supporting the server as much as we can, trying to donate if we need something and we can afford paying it. Because we are the ones who keep server alive and consider it as our second home, we only love InfinityMU because it's like a place you hang out and enjoy good moments with your virtual friends.

I decided to stay neutral in this suggestion just because i respect and think for both sides, Administration and Infinitians.

I agree with Gilmour it can be granted only 3 times per month, probably in the same day or depends (maybe it can have a limit) but I don't think that it can be possible since you are not the only donator in our server, it takes time, resistant usually accepts this request in the first week of the donation i think, as far i know you can ask for a change for your uber set ,also JOH.

I'm not sure what was the reason to cancel tax for BTA, i dont have idea, coz it's a donation anyways.
Basically you're suggesting add the last BTA with tax system, actually it's a great suggestion, but like i said there are reasons to not support this anymore, and i can't tell you exactly why.

Thats exactly the reason why im trying to insist on having a tax for the change we have lots of bta via transfer before from players who want to sell their uber to buy another one and i haven't heard any complaints about tax as far as im concerned...when via transfer was removed due to several reasons donation purposes was reduced...im not sure but that way donor numbers must have been reduced as well...
By adding uber set change with tax we can make players happy by enabling them change their uber and help server by increasing purposes of donation...thus increasing the numbers of donors...
As for players who arent able to donate...they can still do the old ways...buy the donation by winds...

If you are playing with DL and what to switch to BK, why shouldn't you just create a BK, get it to max and just buy the uber? You will pay 10$ once, then you will pay 10$ again, and you want to change it again and you pay 10$ again. It's already 1 uber set and if you just buy the new uber you get to keep your 5$. Me, for example, I play DL, I bought arch demon set, lazy shield and THB, soon I will buy SMoK and sacred wind, and thats it. I know for sure that I will keep all that and I wont change that to anything, that will stay on my DL as long as I play. Well, the THB will be gone, but that is obvious, cuz I will buy SMoK. You shouldn't buy anything if you are not sure that you will still need it in a month. You buy new shoes, after a month you decide, ahh, well, actually I don't like them, so you pay 10$ to exchange them. But why did you buy them then? Why you buy something that you don't want to keep? That is how I see it.

Well, the donations maybe increase in the start but the money from donations will be 50% down due to the discount you suggested. Plus imagine how hard it will be to keep tracks of ubers, RESiSTANT will have to change ubers every day since there are many players.

Yes, I don't agree, even if it is free. Even more if it is free. There will be so many people changing their ubers. It can get really messy. As I already mentioned, if you buy something, you intend to keep it. So why change it? Smart people don't buy things if they still consider will they like them. I got every information I needed before I made the purchase and I got more information for upcoming purchases. So yeah..

I think this method is similar to current exchanging system for uber and sword. To send an uber set its about $10, its basically you can just request him to change instead of giving it to another account.

I suggest that every month a staff will make an event like the free harmony change but they would change the uber sets of a player maybe 5 players only per month or something like that.

Its not a bad suggestion though, but I have to agree on what Enzo said. Running administration is extremely hard i would say, and very costly. If implemented that doesn't mean that everyone will do it every time. And the price set for every uber set is not just to make you spend your money. Thats why its called donation. Its somehow donation to keep the server alive and in exchange you will get to enjoy good quality and strong set. And for the bigger discount you suggest, lets say a lot of donation at the start but still doesn't quite met the price set for the expenses that our administration do to spend to have a good maintenance for the server. And at the later part its gonna get lower and what will happen to the business, resistant is gonna cover the expenses more than what he had for the donation for the new ubers. So understand this coz it is business, and for the business to arise we have to set price for each donation. Remember it doesn't mean that we are getting the money out of your pockets but go back to the word donation again.

Anyway guys there are seasonal promotions that resistant always do just for you guys to enjoy more and pay less. So instead of wasting your $10 every time you spend just to change the set, lets say 5 times you want to want to change. That already cost you 2 new uber sets which you can keep.

Or just lets make this more fair, first time can be free (1 time free per month) and second, third, fourth and so on has to be paid, that would be balanced for both sides (players and administration), not everyone has a lot of money to donate, but donating is important as well, so I think my advice is 100% fair

Very well said. Your thoughts are indeed reasonable. With this kind of scheme, there's a big chance that the donation rate will dicrease. However, if the administration will be able to figure out the most reasonable price for Uber change, a value that will not affect the donations' rate, I believe it will be perfect. I also think this suggestion will actually generate more funds for the server.


In addition, if this will be approved by the administration and staff, you can actually make this scheme easier if you'll set a specific day or days in a month for uber change. Lastly, for me it shouldn't be free. Everything that's free is subject to abuse and misuse. It's only going to be an additional task for admin, no returns.
