Forum Notification

Hi! Good day I am suggesting that the forum notification to add something more. For example, if you replied to a certain thread and other fellow forumers replied to that certain thread, you will be notified that someone has replied to that so you can keep track of that thread. It kinda works like facebook where you get notified when someone has commented on a post. There's a catch too. An automatic "follow" will be implemented if you replied on a thread and you will get notifications from that. And you can always "unfollow" to that thread so you can stop getting notifications from that post, same rule as facebook where you cannot still receive notification even if you replied as long as the "unfollow" button had been implemented on that specific thread chose by the user. I'm suggesting this to lessen the hassle of finding the thread, to keep track of the post we want, make threads be easily attended, and attend to important threads that need replies asap.

Under "thread tools". Select "subscribe to this thread" and you'll get notification whenever someone replies to the particular thread.

Thread tools -> subscribe to this thread.

If you can't find it, it is right above post #1. In this case, the option is right above your post.

I think you this suggestion is good but this is to hassle for us if we post on one thread and after that some player post it there too you will notify that they post it there too. I think only the thread you started can get notification if someone posted on it..

it is nice but if u can observe this is like a notification

u can always see whose replied on the thread.

Please read carefully my words. You can get notifications IF you implemented a certain button that you want to get notifications of that certain thread.

Yes, I know, but how about those thread we really want to follow and keep track? I think not all of the post on that "latest posts" are the ones we want to keep track on? As I said, follow ONLY the selected threads we want. I have been here for quite sometime not to notice that "latest post" activity. This is a different thing compared to that latest posts activity.

This is a different time now. Different players, different system. We will never know the results. It might be good for 80% of all forum users in my perspectives.

I think you're missing the point. We can only get notifications from the post WE replied on to. And we can "unfollow" or "follow" it anytime to avoid spam notifications, just like facebook right now. If we unfollow a certain thread, you will NOT get notifications from it even though you replied to that specific thread. So we can just keep track of the posts where you replied in first place.

Yes but still if i get notifications for every thread i post take example spam zone and some threads that have more than 3,000 posts example (What are you listening now?), it will get annoying not because of the notification itself, but because i have to unfollow threads all the time since i don't like this plug-in. Last but not least, some of the forumers may like it but the majority won't like it at all.

you don't need to because there is a function allows you to
be notified, just subscribed to that thread and you will get notified.

if you don't know how, better not ask me ^^
