Hello everyone! 👋

This thread is being created in agreement with Venci to gather the community's current opinion regarding the Castle Siege system.
The Castle Siege system has been discussed several times in the past, including the differences between the Original Seal System and the Point System.
However, we would like to hear your opinion once again and find out what the community currently prefers.

🔒 Original Seal System

The classic Castle Siege system where the final successful Seal is the key to winning the Castle.
⚔️ Strong focus on Crown fights, Sealing and defending the Guild Master, with the possibility of a last-minute comeback.

⭐ Point System

A system where the result is based on points accumulated throughout the entire Siege, rewarding activities such as Castle control, Switches, Seals and PvP.
This means that the overall performance during the Siege has a direct impact on the final result.

❓ Which system would YOU prefer?

🔒 SEAL SYSTEM
⭐ POINT SYSTEM

More importantly — tell us WHY.
Do you prefer the excitement of a last-minute Seal deciding the Siege, or would you rather have the entire Castle Siege contribute to the final result?

💬 Share your opinion and let's see what the community prefers today!
⚠️ IMPORTANT: A vote without a written explanation/reason will be considered invalid and will not be counted.

🏰⚔️ See you in Valley of Loren!

They both got pros and cons on each system.

For Seal System, this one is challenging but fun, trying your best to seal against all other strong guilds. The thing is other strong guilds who can just take the seal can just show up few minutes before CS ends which they know they can just steal the seal last minute.

For Point System, you can just have as much allies as you want during CS to gather most points, which is a good strategy as well. It's something helpful to those who are really showing their love on CS that they are willing to play the whole hour and have fun. But not all can be online on time and not all as well have that much of allies and friends who can contribute the points so it's unfair for them as well. The only thing that's not good for point system is they don't take the CS seriously, they're just there present for points instead of trying hard to get the seal or defend which is the whole definition of CASTLE SEIGE.

But I have to go with the Seal System, because this system makes you do your best to seal or defend your castle for the whole hour of the event. As much as I want the point system, it's unfair to those who sealed the system and defend all through out just to lose because they have less players. And example is just last CS, where the guild successfully sealed and defend with a few players online but still managed to defend it through out. They deserved that Seal.

For me, I fully stand with the Seal System it’s the true heart of Castle Siege.

WHY? Because:

  • Authentic siege feel — you fight to occupy and hold ground not just farm kills it actually feels like conquering a fortress.
  • Deep strategy & teamwork — needs coordination, timing, and roles (tanks holding the circle, support keeping them alive, diversions at side seals), not just raw damage.
  • Fair & clear victory — no last-minute point spikes you earn control by sustained effort, everyone sees exactly who truly took the castle.
  • Values all players — smaller/well-organised guilds can outplay stronger ones tanks and supporters matter as much as top damage dealers.
  • Meaningful prestige — holding the seal is undisputed, respected, and feels legendary no arguments about "unfair points farming."
  • Unpredictable & exciting — every siege flows differently, not the same repetitive kill-grind pattern.
Seals make victory about conquest, not just counting numbers that’s why it’s the better system.

*Sealing system is okay when 3 or more guilds.

*Point system is okay for 2 guilds only but the point system must be played as Counting succesful seal not KILLS or how long you hold the switches.

to be fair to the defender, the defender should have 1 count in the starting of CS.

PS: Let us consider those players using FO sets and no achievements. They are easy target for kills

Hello everyone, I wanted to share my opinion on how CS should be played.

I'm the first to admit I like playing CS the oldschool, and I understand that playing with points gets boring. But honestly, most of us are looking for something new and more entertaining. How is it possible that two guilds register, and when CS starts, it's 1v1? Tell me, we ask for so much and do so little, and I'm speaking as a player.

So, every time there's a 1v1, there are complaints?

I think we should be more responsible with what we ask for. Thanks and blessings to all.

My vote will always be for last seal system, for me Classic CS is the best.
For Staff team thanks for making poll to see players opinions, really appreciated.
I hope to see Infinity big again, with 4 guilds playing CS and even fight for sols.

Last cs there were 4 allies participating, all of them were present and we had already a winner at like min 0:20 🙂, seal system is better because u have to be good at seal and defending the crown... Altho there's lack of players in cs, reward should be more tempting from now

If couls be possible to have something like u get rewarded (apart from the regular prize u get for winning) for holding the switch 1 draco/row or whatever for like 10 minutes... Same things to the players defending the crown and for me, cs is funnier when there lot of players fighting to get switches

Point system is good as long as it is 1v1

🔒 SEAL SYSTEM
As a newer player, my vote goes to the Original Seal System.
Reasoning:
The Point System is too vulnerable to inter-guild manipulation and multi-accounting, especially when three or more guilds participate. In most, players control multiple accounts spread across different secondary or "ally" guilds.
If a Point System is used, a dominant alliance can easily exploit this by having an allied or dummy guild enter the siege purely to act as a nuisance, block progress, or feed points/objectives to a specific side. The classic Seal System acts as a natural equalizer against this type of political manipulation. It ensures that no matter how much a guild tries to manipulate points or choke objectives throughout the event, the attacking team always retains a fighting chance to pull off a strategic, last-minute comeback at the Crown.

Seal basis or points basis, I don't care whatever. Let's just play as long as you're enjoying the game. I don't give a damn, I'm play Cs whether you like it or not, geng geng

Castle Siege was always about strategy, timing, and skill. Even guild alliances with fewer players could still win if they played smart. The point system takes away a lot of that feeling . I’ll always vote for the sealing system , because it simply fits what Castle Siege is supposed to be about much better

my vote is for the seal system
OG classic regardless how many players or guilds register
its kinda exciting.

I can still remember VERSACE before with Otelo
the core members are just few people but everything is well coordinated
during defense members try to go all out to get switches uneven

for offense all guilds go all out also to get the seal and get the switches.

Classic is the best! That oldschool feeling is why I’ve kept playing this game and never switched to any other server. 🔥 @RESiSTANT Love you, bro!

For me Old school/ last seal still the best CS format. Maybe lot of players will comeback and play for next CS if last seal system will be the format of CS, including me :).

Although I don't play every often CS, each time I did it, classic Sealing system was best, struggles, stomps, players gathering around, it's quite fun!
Where's the fun? You can hold a castle for 95% and loose it right at the end, and it's a matter of skill and luck.

Point system is suitable only in 1v1 wars, because there is no real battle for holding the switch, just for sealing, even tho it can be quite difficult to seal anyway :)

There is a saying - Don't change something that works!

The classic seal system is the heart of Castle siege, it's fun, skill based and totally fun, can't be faked.

Point system could be faked or abused in ways that wont show skill.
