It's that romantic time of the year and we are beyond excited to host our Valentine's Day Love Novel Contest! The rules are simple, all participants must come up with their own Valentine's love story from scratch. We will judge the stories based on originality and effort. Anyone and everyone is welcome to participate! The event concludes on the 28th of February 2023.

" Flash falls in love real quick "

This is a short story about a college student, who loves video games more than his educational values. Ron was a gamer, a video game enthusiast. He's 19 years old, single, and has no idea about dating nor the ideology of being in love. From day 1 in school, he only attended 3 subjects and was not really interested in learning more. He always skips classes and goes to the nearest internet cafe to spend the day. To him, everything was fine and thought that it wouldn't be a problem. A few weeks had passed and it was their Preliminary Exams, he took the test even though he did not study. The results came and he failed. He thought to himself; " it's just the preliminaries, I can pass the second exam".
Regardless of what he had attained, he was not flustered by it and continued playing video games everyday of the week. Another few weeks passed and it was their Midterms Exams. Yet again, Ron didn't study and an hour before their test, he was playing video games. The exam was initiated and yes you guess it, he failed AGAIN. He was not even shocked by the results of his efforts. He went outside the University and played. While he was playing, minding his own business. A girl walked up to him and asked;
" Hey! You're Ron right? Did you pass your exam? " and Ron replied, " Yes I'm Ron, and no. I failed it. But it's okay, I can pass the next exam for sure." Ron noticed that she was too close for comfort, she grabbed a chair and sat next to him and she played as well. Ron then asked, " Sorry, i wasn't able to formally ask your name." The girl replied with a smirk on her face, " My name is Joy, pleasure to meet you!" They went on and played together, had the most awkward laughs and shared a few trash talks together. Ron then noticed that she was very energetic for her size as she was small, a little chubby, and she wore an eyeglass. But still, he had fun playing games with her. Two hours have passed and they both ended their game time and figured it was time to say goodbye and go home. Without hesitation, Joy asked Ron for his number and cleared that it was only for gaming purposes whenever she wanted to play games, she would contact him. So Ron gave his number and then went on to say his goodbye. Little did he know, that she lives close to his house so he gathered enough confidence to ask her. " Hey Joy, do you live here in this area?" he asked. Joy then replied, " Yes, behind that green house is my house."
So they walked together and talked for a while, and Ron reached his house. Joy then said, " Bye Ron, today was fun. Let's play again some other time." Ron smiled but didn't reply.


The following day, Joy accidentally sent a wrong message via text to Ron saying. " OMG! I met a boy earlier, He's a noob in video games and still kept playing. That must've been the reason why he failed his exam. And oh! BTW, He's our classmate." Ron was shocked to know this and felt sad. So he replied, " Hi Joy, i think you sent the message to the wrong person." Joy didn't reply. The same day, Ron was eating alone in the canteen murmuring the message. He felt a little bit angry about what he saw. Then Joy, walked up to him, She apologized for her words but Ron kept being silent. Joy felt really bad and so she grabbed Ron's hands and put it on her face. She jiggles it around to make her face ugly, thinking she wants to extract Ron's laugh. Which he did laugh and Ron said, " okay okay! , apology accepted." Joy smiled and walked away. But then Joy sent a message to Ron via text saying "why is your face red when you were touching my face earlier?" Ron hastily replied, " I DID NOT!!!" Not knowing Joy was still at a distance looking at him. " Gotcha! HAHAHAHA!! You should've seen your face Ron. Your face turn SUPER RED while you were texting me back." Ron lowered his head trying to hide his embarrassment. Then the magic happened.. " You're cute when getting teased." Joy said. And Ron didn't reply. Then the afternoon came and it was time to go home. Ron still minding his own business and walked alone, He felt a nudge on his back. He turned around and no one was there. But when he goes back to walking Joy was there. " It's still 5:00 PM, how about we go to the port and enjoy a little breeze?" she asked. Ron said no but Joy forcefully grabbed Ron's hands then ran. Ron wasn't able to hold his ground so he had to go with her.

Meanwhile in the port, they sat down to the nearby bench and talked. " Hey, you know I felt bad about what I said the other day. So I want to treat you nice so I can at least repay what I've said. Okay?" she said. Ron replied, " I already forgiven you earlier, and it's okay now." Joy then replied, " I know! I just want to hang out with you. HeHeHe!! "
Ron was shocked, he lowered his head, his face turned red, and was sweating so hard that Joy grabbed a napkin and wiped it. " You know, You shouldn't play too much games. That must be why you were failing. That is why I will personally lecture you and share my beautiful knowledge. Because I'm beautiful! HeHeHe! Okay? I won't take NO for an answer!!" she said. Ron still processing everything and replied, " Why are you doing this? " And without hesitation, Joy replied. " Because I like you, You're not the most handsome guy in school but I have a thing for Nerds." Ron then replied, " Why me? Of all the people?" then Joy said. " BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE YOU!! OMG!!" She replied.
Then out of nowhere, Joy kissed Ron's forehead with a smirk on her face. Ron's face turned from super red, to purple. He may have lost consciousness for 10 whole seconds.
" I like you and I want you to pass your exams, and hey. You might never know we might actually end up being a couple." Joy said. Fireworks started to blow above them. The scenery was perfect, the ambiance was just right, and the air feels warm. Then Ron asked Joy, " Will you be my girlfriend?" Joy then replied. " Hold up just a minute flash, way too fast there buddy! How about, if you pass your Semi Finals Exam, I can let you hold my hand while walking home? Deal? " Ron nodded so fast and said, " YES YES YES YES"
A deal was made and so they watched the fireworks till it lasted and went home right after. Nearing Ron's house, Joy said. " Today was fun, Thank you for going out with me. See you tomorrow FLASH! HeHeHeHe!!" Ron replied with a smile, " SHUTUP!! But yeah, today was really fun. I don't know how to respond to this kind of conversation before. But thanks for today." Joy then said, " Don't worry, I'll teach you how, HeHeHeHeHe!" Ron was so embarrassed about what she said, then walked inside his house. He locked the door and was laying against it. He smiled and his face turned red. Then he got a text message from Joy saying, " Let me guess, your face turned red again. GOTCHA!! HeHeHeHe!"

Based upon real experiences of people. The names were changed to avoid any contradictions and maintain anonymous reality.
The moral of the short story is that, everything happens so quick in life that you barely even notice it. Just like love, you wouldn't know it's there until it hits you unexpectedly.
Love is a strong word, it is a strong bond, that only a handful of people could experience but love in its plurality, love can be made simple. Love can mean anything, Love can be anything, Love cannot be bound to any gender, it has no form or shape but everyone is entitled to be loved. Share the love not only on the february 14th but live it everyday for the rest of your lives. I hope you enjoyed my short novel. Ya'll have a wonderful day.

Valentine's Day is usually referred as an occasion to demonstrate their love toward their soul mate, a day where people normally dedicate their time to demonstrate their love through actions. However, being a JACKALS, I am kind of a savage guy, because I don't choose Valentine's day to show my love to the people, but I do it constanlty thoughout the year, because if you love them, you should show your love to them on a daily basis.

Valentine's Day should not be limited to show love to a specific person, because, everyone around us should feel the same affection that we show to our soul-mate, but it has to be virual as well, spreading love around the world. Being part of a virtual game called "InfinityMU", we have to dedicate more love to our passion, especially to everyone that is part of this community, regardless of anything, in this day I'd like to show much love to my lovers in "Antrax" guild. I am a guy that is willing to love everyone, which is not meant to be a relationship between a male and female. Through my JACKALS' action, harrassing, trolling or killing, they are all my ways of showing my love to you guys, and I feel like there is not only way of showing love through words, but actions speaks louder than it, like the metaphor said "a picutre is worth a thousands words", I'd rather paraphrase it as " A kill is worth more than a thousands words".

You can call my actions as madness, but I'd rather call it my compassion to you, whether you are little like TATAIA would say, I call it love, or as @RESiSTANT said in his bio "I love you all <333", I love all Antrax too <3, sorry for stealing your quote, but I will give you credits on this special occasion.

I have much compassions over your attitutes, like NoCap that feel the greatest, a simple guy that talks a lot, but shows none, like he cheated my emotions by saying he will PCH Konata or he will appeal, but he never did, but because I am a man of words, I will forgive your greediness because after all I love you, but please don't let me down from now on, I'll start to love another guy if so. I'd meet you one day, if I ever have the chance to travel to your country, and we gonna meet in the beautiful Exito, like we agreed one time. I am looking forward to it, but please, don't break your promises, since you never do what you say, because if so, you are such a semi-guy.

I want also show love to Soler, he is the greatest player 1 on 1 like he said, I appreciate it, you are really strong, but your emotions sometimes makes you little confused, like, why on earth would you have to auto-report yourself, I'd never understand this. I love how you fight, and how we turn small fights into big fights, but please, stop use shield to protect yourself from your loved ones, everyone loves you, but I know you are a protectice type of guy, and in order to strenghthen our bonds, I'am learning spanish on a daily basis, because I want to interact more with you, because I find you as a simple and funny guy that is worth my love.

Rossev AKA Peru, you hurted me so much in Castle Siege, you broke me down by throwing me unlimited 4 Skills combos, why would you break my heart like that, after I discovered you were not clean as I expected. This is really breaking my heart, and I never had an occasion to say so, but I finally can through this romance letter I am addressing.

The first impression is the only impression I've always said it, I would never judge the book by its cover, but I always gave the chance to the "book" but only to the first pages. Ivy, or Henry , as many would say, is the only person that cheated on me, because you switched from my side to another side, and this broke my heart. We were so good together that you were waving me each time you'd see me, and that was so warm, so much love. But sincerely, you never gave me a chance to "read" through your book cover, because you are so timid, revealing yourself, but regardless of that, I love the type of guy you are, so helpful in fights with your buffs, with all of your buffs, you demonstrated friendship and love through your actions, and that means more than a thousands words, like I anticipated, because I can barely understand what you say to me in the game, but I know its about love.
My romance in this community is so big that I can't explain myself with simple words, because deep inside I feel so ashamed that one day I will declare my love to my enemies, because I really love them and I hope they will stay there as long as possible. Also to my Turkish friends, I'd say that I am lucky to "know" personally someone that is being affected by tragedy and I show compassion to everyone of you, please stay safe and more love, and I pray that you guys will be able to play as soon as possible, because I feel so empty withouth our conversations and friendly fights. I find Emre a great person that wanted to welcome me in Turkey and offered me guidance in his hometown, you are really a nice guy,

''True love-life history''

I would like to share my Valentine's experience that just happened yesterday.

Since January 2020 if i'm not mistaken I've started to work on my parents company, I was studying accounting and working in their accounting office. I have always been a hardworking student and I was almost finishing my graduation (finished in 2021). In the meantime I met a girl at work and she was nice and beatiful so we started going out sometimes but not going out in public places, it was all about kill carnal desires. We met sometimes but my focus was always on studying and increasing my knowledge and so far this was not a problem for her.
So finally in 2021 I graduated and started to put my full focus on growing within the company and acquiring knowledge, in the meantime she started to show herself in love and I always opened the game saying that I didn't want anything serious with anyone. It didn't seem like a problem, after all, many people have the maturity to separate things and even if it's difficult, to overcome these moments.
I was growing very fast within the company and two months ago, the supervisor of the department where we work left and I took his place. I confess that were the most difficult two months of my life, I had to learn difficult things quickly but despite everything I was doing very well but whenever I looked at my phone there were messages from the girl i was dating in the past practically begging for attention but I didn't feel anything and I didn't want anything serious with anyone, i had always made it clear.
The big problem started because the department was made up of me, the girl I dated and two other girls, they were good old friends, they had lunch together every day, they went out together on weekends and the girl I was dating in the past started using that friendship to say that I was abusive to her at work, treated her badly and that I didn't teach her things even though I was always available and willing to help.
Yesterday I was called into the meeting room by my parents who are the owners of the company, the girls were crying a lot, they reported me for being abusive and said that I was causing them to even have psychological disorders. My parents tried to say that my behavior was due to the high level of stress but in reality they were being manipulated by girls without the slightest dignity, I've been accused of things I didn't do and never would and in the end I was fired from the company.
Now I'm here at home trying to restructure my strategy for the future, it was a very hard lesson, the world is really not a good place and people's love is based on interest and when its not reciprocal, it can be dirty.​

Like in this game called MU. Even in different sides you've got my back..Supporting me since 2010.. supporting me now in 2023.
Like on the alley.. On our neighborhood terrace.. I still wonder and probably will keep wonder why i havent approaced you back then.
How the years passed.. sometimes for a year I text you just an Happy bday, or a Happy new year.. and years passed..and passed. You went other countries.. i went also .. You came back .. and so do I . Nowhere is like home .
That day.. this call with a phone number i didn't known... - Hey hellow..remember me? - Of Course i do ( in my mind was only : ahhhh you're my Dee <3 ) Dayummm even after all these years i remembered your voice. You just wanted a service from me .. I just wanted to honor it. But the moment we seen eachother we went like nvm about the... but, Heyyy how are you? How's your life.. and so on.
From the little talk we end up in days with walkaways and cute stories about our past which we've told eachother .. visit some cute surroundings, places i never was.. Everytime i spoke for a destination to go.. you simple said.. ok let's go. Oh boy, all went just in the perfect right time.
And then ..days after, you feelt to kiss my cheek when drived you home in that late night.. but girl, you don't kiss me on the cheeks.. I had to take the kiss that i badly wanted from you since already a week. How could I resist? And you enjoy it.. Enjoyed so much that since then nothing separated us. Months later we moved togheter and with this occasion you've brough that tiny fluffy big eyed kitten that loves to snuggle every night in bed for a dose of rubbing belly.. My life couldnt be more perfect.

The moment i proposed for you to be my wife, it was indeed the most courageous act i did in my entire life.. You said yes, and now we are committed to eachother for the rest of our lives.
Your father, sometimes such a grumpy man. His voice stands in my mind everytime we talk about our marriage. The hilarious way but full of joy after i have asked for his permision to have you as a wife.. his jokes.. his bro codes.. telling me he is giving me the chance to run as there's still time. ^^,
Since that day .. I seen how he changed himself into a better and proud man. His girl.. Is gettting married.
You have a opened a completly new world for me.. Knowing your family.. knowing your friends. Easyest part from all of that was to introduce you to my family since they already seen you arround the neighborhood. Your pretty face.. is not something easy to forget <3
What happened next is as if taken from fairy tales..
The emotions of engagement.. The realization that I finally found someone I want to spend the rest of my life.. a truly wonderful feeling..a thrilling rollercoaster.
The wedding .. the work we all put togheter for that unique ocasion in our life...

The moment I first seen you in the wedding dress (hey... i didn't cried ..ok? ).. the joy for what we two accomplished so far. All the celebrations.. All The guests.. The bride and groom dance and the party after awfull moments
I can say.. these, my dear wife are the greatest ever memories. And.. I'm sure more will come since you're such a person full of surprises.
More to say.. we loved playing video games together before. Our favorite game was an MMORPG that allowed us to create our own characters and explore a vast, immersive world. We spent hours playing together, completing quests, and fighting epic battles.
Indeed we liked this game.. And look where the faith brought us.. To enjoy again the same game, but diferent server.. diferent community. InfinityMU on his name. A name that kinda stand for the love I carry for you.. Infinite.


So, my love, I promise to love you today, tomorrow, and for the rest of our lives. I am honored to be your partner and your soulmate, and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us. Forever and always!!!
