Staff Team Update 6/3/2024 (Kona)

Without much blab,

Today's the day that @Kona will be demoted from the staff team and stripped of his Game Master rank permanently.

Reason:

1. Power Abuse: abusing access granted to him to do the Game Master work, revealing confidential information to his friends about other staff member's characters (including high-ranking staff members and supporters), and whatnot.
2. Bias Behavior: biased opinions and comments during report discussions based on the reported player (if friend / enemy / neutral).
3. Unprofessionalism: improper behavior towards a community member, which is not suited for a staff member under any circumstance.

Investigated, discussed, and confirmed by the Administrators and Head Game Master. Proofs of all his wrongdoings are stored in leader's staff chat.

Statement Regarding @Kona's Demotion:

Kona's demotion was simply an internal staff issue. We are currently addressing it internally, and players should not be involved. However, for the sake of transparency, what is happening within the staff team should be made known to the public.

This internal issue has nothing more to do with degrading Kona as a player or individual. He has been a loyal member of this community for a long time, and the status he has built should remain the same.

We urge the community not to attack Kona or any other players without understanding the internal staff situation. Any insults or harassment against Kona will be handled according to our game rules. Such behavior will not be tolerated on any InfinityMU platforms (in-game, Discord, Shoutbox / Forum).

Kona contributed to the GM team in many ways as a staff member with his own experience and gameplay. He learned how to handle cases properly, but due to unwanted circumstances, the parting of ways between the GM team and Kona was deemed necessary.
