I voted for no second chance, but since i know pretty well this community i know how this shet gonna end up, crying over /post saying someone is using hacks lol

-if anything since i know they will get unbann, make them pay for unbann and to have a brand new acct, if they want their own acct then make them pay higher for the items owned on the account.
 
Hi all, this is my opinion on this topic. For now, I suggest allowing them to appeal with a public apology plus a donation for the unban. (This unban should apply only to their IP address. Their main accounts must remain permanently banned.)

They should not get their main accounts back. If they want to return, they must start fresh with a new account that has nothing on it. If they don’t like this arrangement, then let them stay banned. Don’t let them control any of you or make demands. Remember, you are the ones in charge, and they are the ones asking for a favor by trying to return to the server.

Let’s see if they’re actually willing to support the server and spend money again to get new items. If we keep giving these players repeated chances, they will continue doing the same things they did before. The $50 fee should be only for the IP address unblocking. These players are fully capable of paying more. Let them spend more, especially since they are blacklisted and have already committed serious violations against the community rules.

I know that feedback on this thread may not change anything, as I’ve seen several blacklisted players come back and get unbanned even before this topic was raised. But hopefully this thread will lead to meaningful results.
 
no second chanss this kind of decision is a risk and we don't know their real motives for wanting to came back.......... they were exiled for a reason so it should stay as it is
 
I have no idea of how people feel using hacks, I would feel like a trash noob if I need to use a third program to beat someone. I prefer to loose as a man instead of using shit programs because playing fair and respecting rules and still do good is the best and genuieve feeling/sensation.
However my intention is not to flame anyone, I understand people have they way to act and as humans we do mistakes and I also know some people will never change because they are used to act in a bad way but MU is a game to play with people and we loosing players to several other new games so we need everyone to make the game more fun so I'd suggest for bans to be max 1 year and people with less than 1 year banned for using hacks to donate for unban + public apologyze.
Anyway I will vote to give a chance to all exiled players to be unbanned, even players with long and rich ban history.

NO NO NO & exiles have already compromised your authority once and allowing them back would only repeat the same cycle of abuse; instead of re-introducing individuals with a documented history of violations, focus on releasing new updates. we do not need high-risk players who have repeatedly demonstrated toxic and disruptive behavior. they were given multiple opportunities for reform, and they failed. reinstating exiled players is a critical misstep. the server’s reputation will deteriorate further if these offenders are allowed to return.

I vote to give all exiled players a chance by donating $50 and apologizing here on the forum.

My response to all this is that I see many people saying yes, and others saying no.

*Let's remember that here, just like in the game and in real life, we often make mistakes, and sometimes we try to change, but we fall into the same. I understand the frustration of other players here.

*I think this would greatly help the server, as it could revitalize the in-game market. As we all know, every donation helps maintain server stability and allows for updates on new items.

*I have 100% confidence in this staff. If they abuse the system with any kind of hack again, I assure you they will be caught as quickly as possible.

Finally, I remember that in the past I was a bad player, and I failed many times, but as you can see, I'm a different person now, and I'm still here because I love this game so much.

I wish Soler were here so I could thank him again, since it was he who gave @RESiSTANT the idea to come back with another chance.

I vote to give all exiled player a chance to comeback by donation and apologize for using hacks here in the forum. Give some people a chance to change.
This is just my suggestion but maybe give them some community time like helping out a newbie level up and reset or give advice to newbies to play this game.

yes, only those who have been banned once. They deserve another chance. because there's a player don't have money to unban anymore for the game, but let them give a chance 1 more last chance for the happy playing in the CS the more players the more be happy i hope you need to give one more last chance for the players who want to come back there are many GM's surroundings to watch them who have been filed an amnesty.​

why should there be a poll like this from the owner?
my friend quit because of victimized by speedhacker draconiting
and some people want them back?
the staffs have no accountability to the rules
they already gave second chances to some players
players with speedhack cheat bans dont deserve another chance.
you want the cheaters to come back and cheat again?

I have voted to give banned players a chance to come back. But to show sincerity, they should accept and accept the punishment for the mistakes they have caused to the server.

I agree to let them appeal and have public apology and donation for unbanning. We need more active people and players in this game as everyone can see. Players play games to play and have fun, its no sense if theres only few people that you will encounter every day and always the faces.

Quality over Quantity? I dont think so. Seems like we got a lot more staffs than players participating PvP Events. Ya'll can count, compare them the staff list and compare it to the latest pk events the EMs has done.
 
everyone deserve second chance , but those who have been kicked out from this server more than twice , i dont think its good idea too welcome them back again.
 
The answer to this poll is very straightforward this is very similar to people who steal in real life rehabilitation doesn't exist for them, although a few might actually achieve it.
Now, we need to ask ourselves the following question, what do we want for InfinityMU right now?
Okay, if we remove the account bans for all those players, from what I see, only these possibilities exist afterward.

1: Most of them will come back, play for a few hours, and then leave the game.
2: Another percentage of players will take advantage of this to sell their accounts for real money because they simply don't care about playing MU anymore.
3: This option is the most obvious, I think some will come back to using hacks and get banned again.
So, for me, unblocking their accounts or not is exactly the same because If what you want is to see an increase in active players on the server, I don't think unblocking those players is the best idea.

Honestly, I would enable the old account unban system.

Character: 50 USD
Account: 100 USD

This could even be an extra source of income to pay for the game's maintenance.
If you're so "intelligent" as to spend money on a hack license for only 30 days, I suppose it'll be very easy for you to pay to unban it.
Anyway, we always have players willing to record and report cheaters.
 
I have been part of the staff here for over 10 years now and what my view is that REPEATED OFFENDERS WILL NEVER CHANGE.

And I believe that if they got banned several times and were exiled - THEY HAVE NO PLACE IN OUR COMMUNITY, DONATION OR NOT. No one changes at the age of the players who are here. And as a gamer I can tell you that if you get used to cheating you will always find a way to cheat and bypass the rules! It's just who you are. Clean players will remain clean players.

This server needs a HEALTHY COMMUNITY so it can Live, survive, endure in the future. A few donations ONCE from hackers or offenders won't make it better, it will make it worse because it will make a big part of the players go away which means more donation will leave instead of coming into the server.

My principles as an Administrator alongside my fellow staff will always be the same - IF YOU ARE CAUGHT BREAKING THE RULES, YOU WILL BE BANNED, NO MATTER IF YOU GOT UNBANNED BY MERCY, DONATION OR ANY OTHER METHOD.

This server is living for over 16 years BECAUSE of the healthy community. If we keep it that way, the server will continue to exist!

For those who cheated once can be made an exception and be given a second chance. People deserve second chances. Sometimes, those second chances prove to be gems for the community.
 
I don't see anything wrong with them coming back, but thinking about the future, let's not forget that they've won events with great prizes, denying fair players the chance. If they return and start winning events, it will raise suspicions. It would be a good idea to require everyone who plays to record their gameplay and upload the winnings to be eligible for prizes. This way, we can be sure they're playing fairly. We should also consider their skill level. If they become as dominant as before, that's also cause for concern, especially since the difference between legal and illegal play was noticeable without them.
Y hope this will be good for all of us and enjoy like time ago when was good see always people active,

People using cheats over and over again but you keep saying "he will change" "it was the last time for sure"

No, they don't wanna change, they'll back to cheats like they did second or third time. How many second chances they need? If you once said someone is "NO LONGER WELCOMED" it doesn't mean "pay 50$ and play again"

Is that the price of server owner word? 50$ to buy you? At least make if profitable for the server and change from 50 to 500, they'll think twice.
 
Why not to give them chance again to play but in new account and new everything. If you keep saying that they want their old account then that is not fair at all. It is easy to pay for unban and say public apology. They all been banned for how many times and they keep doing it.

But for now give them chance with new account and everything. 👌🏼
