I don't have problems neither, i'm from Argentina, the server is far away from here and I don't have problems logging in or out, but I do have problems with my pot, that's the only way that the server distance affects my game.

FighterBK, make sure you have closed any software that requires internet.

Such: Bit torrents, download managers, skype, msn etc and try again. If logging loads better, then choose what software to keep closed while you are on game mode.
