Ban Appeal Section

Hi,

I'd would to like to suggest to provide the rights for Legends rank for post in Ban Appeals threads, some of us still around sometime and with good knowledge about Forum / Game. Maybe we could give a hand posting there our opinion about the case.

There is a supporter tag, which allows you to do that. And Forum Hero. If you want to help community, prove yourself, help with everything you can and then you may become a supporter and have the ability to post in ban appeals. There is no need of casual posting from side of Legends. I have been Legend myself and I know how frustrating it is when you have something to say but you can't, but that is how it is and i don't think it should be changed.

You didn't get my point. To be supporter you must be fully active and pointing to became GM or Moderator. And for being Forum Hero you has to Donate for those rights ^^. You don't need a tag to share your knowledge with everyone, sadly for some sections you need to have some privileges. Some Legend's still around and they probably would like to give a hand in some ban appeals cases. If i wanted to became supporter i would became fully active here but sadly i can't, and ofc i won't donate .

We´re legends for something don't you think? It's because we can't continue with our duties in Infinity because being busy with real life. But some of us still logging time to time, and can give a hand. For example in Ban Appeal Sections . You have your opinion and i have heard it already, let's see what others says.

Well the idea was good tho i'm not into anyone side since most of the banning cases was indeed will be judge by the staffs team and in most cases would end up terminating the players life ingame temporarly or permanent as they don't even had the chances to defend or explained themselves like others who had the experience as they aren't capable of or lack the knowledge to explain themselves and not all the staff team i believed are 'involved' in the process of the discussing whether to ban or not to ban.

But giving the access to people in that certain area for this tags will indeed lower the chances for other to get active in forum whether to get the supporter tags or donate for the forum hero, plus don't you think the forum is okay the way it is as normal member can just create a new discussion thread? If only the guilty ask for help to defend.

All the GM's or Mods depending in the case must check the report and share their opinion so they proceed. Sometimes they agree on the ban others don't that's why we have HGM who gives the last word. Why would lower the chances to get supporter? To became legend you need to be an ex-staff and have been doing an great job in your rank to keep that tag after resign.

There is no need of casual posting from side of Legends.

Supporters are able to post in ban appeals, due to the fact that they can see hack reports etc.To add, they(we) know what happened with each case and can provide an opinion without causing inconvenience with wrong information. So far, GMs and rest of the Staff team are doing well with ban appeals without needing any assistance.

in my oppinion,

it's a great idea,bcz Legend's are our previous Staff Team member's and i'm by the way trusting on their knowledge more than Supporter's and etc.

Also today Legend Tag isnt usefull and its just for look's,so i think it can help to the community especially in fast/rational decision making process.

Legends are ex EM's or Moderators...or etc. Not only former GM staff.
So i think it's better to leave the report section and ban appeals in the hands of the GM's.
If i think a bit better, only the current GM's, HGM and ofc the Admin should actually handle that section of Ban Appeals.
The role of the Supporters is to provide asisstance and an extra opinion in the report section only.

Long story short, i do not agree to this sugestion.
P.S.: There was a sugestion @ forums started by Prada if i am not wrong about the ban appeals in wich he proposed that the section of appeals should also remain hidden for other users besides those who actually where involved in the decision making process(GM+HGM+ADM+SUPs). We should stick to that to avoid any further ...spam or inconviniences.

Ban appeal section will be left only for the Staff Team and Supporters. There was a suggestion like this recently,I denied it and I will do it again because of the obvious reason. This is because of conflict with interests,legends/forum heroes can't be objective in some cases. As for the Staff team,we are required to be objective.

Game ban appeals will be for Supporters and Game Masters
Forum ban appeals remain only for Moderators
