Hello, dears!

Welcome to our InfinityMU Author Event for the month of July.
This month we will choose a topic and you will create a POEM based on that topic, and post it here.
The POEM must only be regarding the topic that we will provide. Prepare your poetry skill and become our InfinityMU Author


Topic: Your first PVP battle with another player.
You have to write a poem about the struggles of being a newbie pvp player
(or the fun of it, depending on each character) and how you succeeded or failed
in defending yourself. It's your chance to show your poetry talent in this event.

1. Members with 10 posts and above can enter the event.
2. Each participant can join with only 1 POEM.
3. Do not copy a POEM from the internet.The staff members will keep track of the originality
and validity of each stories, if you break the rule your entry won't be accepted.
4. Stories with offensive language will not be accepted.
5. The story size should be a SHORT POEM - YOU HAVE TO WRITE A POEM
WITH A MINIMUM OF 8 LINES AND MAXIMUM OF 12 LINES
6. The story you submit must be created based on the topic we provided.
7. Normal font is required.
8. Entries submitted after the given deadline will not be accepted.
9. Write your In game name above the entry that you are going to post.
10. All entries should be submitted IN THIS THREAD

• Composition
• Sentence construction
• Grammar

2nd PLACE: 6,000 gold credits + 5 IMES

3rd PLACE: 4,000 gold credits + 3 IMES

Premature Battle

A mystic flare rises upon my deathbed of demise,
Wishing every moment of this duel shall rise.
A battle not worthy of such ignorance,
Not everyone can be victorious neither once.

My ignorance of this duel long ago was insulting to the God of War,
My spear and shield cannot pierce through his heart from afar.
My legs bent up upon every slash he convey.
I am weak, no more words to say.

Alas! A grande fascade was awakaned within me,
Every single battle i've condemned with glee.
Blood, sweat, and cramps gathered upon my very hands with pain,
No more premature battles ever again.

"TS ONE MORE TIME"

When swords are sharpen and ready to charge,
Ready for combat and hungry to tank.
Remembering the days when TS is use,
The only skill you might know is only to use.

By killings free once opponent,
Is an achievement for that moment.
Hungry for PVP when first time to commit,
It might to took you some time to fought once again.

Failure is part of PVP and it boosts your mind to reach further,
To once again stand up and defend once self.
By losing or winning doesn't matter,
what matter is what you have achieve so far.

I'm awaking, going through dust, ashes and blood.
Swords, bodies and pain are all around.
I can hear screams hiding in shadows.
Those are voices of his victims, preparing me for fight.
Bright light blinds me from far.
It's his glory, he knows i'm comming ready for death.
Pray, my little warrior, pray.
Shaking hands, my legs burning, bravery is my blade.
It's a fight! Just one cut, one shout.
I'm done. It's over.
Darkness greets me from his side.

No Shortcut

A new blade knight has spawn in town.
Just a freshie coming from below down.
The warrior should be the best and max himself out.
Grind till your strong, there is no easy route.

Cyclone, Twisting Slash and Death stab.
Combo kill that player and give yourself a dab.
But everything is not easy in this game.
If you want to be the strongest, make yourself a name.

A buff from an elf gives you damage and defense.
A buff from a wiz gives you shield that is intense.
A buff from dark lord gives you critical hit rate.
And the knight kills all enemies and is ready to receive hate.​

Started off playing alone in pvp with just ancient set,
Dying without knowing what is going on.
Started off playing alone in pvp with semi set,
Dying and knowing tier 1 set is not the best set for pvp.
Finally got that tier 2 set you always dream of,
Still dying anyway due to lack of buffs.
Finally you made a team with trusted comrades and buff,
There you are owning people who killed you before.
And the satisfaction kicks in.

"A confused newbie"

I came into this game as a reject.
Playing like a newbie, no goals to connect.
Browsing the map one by one to understand.
Let me try stadium map while wielding my sword on my hand.
As soon as I warped, I did not see.
One SM already started to attack and he killed me.
With just one blow I was dead.
Oh my god this is what I call a testament.
I better fight back so I released my death stab.
Why I can’t hit him, is there some kind of bug?
I am just a newbie but what is going on?
Oh, I forgot that I need to press this ctrl key…Ok, GAME ON!
