I am happy to announce the Winter Edition of our lovely Seasonal InfinityMU Wiki Writer Event

This season, the Wiki team has 16 special articles that need their lores. So prepare your keyboard and start writing.

What is a Lore, you ask?

Lore: The backstory created around a fictional universe.

Rules of the event

1. Each participant can join with only 1 lore.
2. The lores must be written in English and should be submitted IN THIS THREAD only.
3. The lore should be max. 3.000 characters (no spaces) long or it will not be accepted.
4. The lores must be created in the iMU world with iMU characters/sets/weapons/maps/etc.
5. Do not copy the lore from some place else.The Wiki Team will keep track of the originality.
and validity of each lores, if you break the rule your entry won't be accepted.
6. Stories with offensive language will not be accepted.
7. Normal font is required.
8. Write your In Game Name(IGN) above the entry that you are going to post.
9. Entries submitted after the given deadline will not be accepted.

Lore of the Tartarus Mace of the Emperor Set

A long time ago, written in the scrolls by the forefathers of the continent, there lived a Dark Lord Emperor so tyrannical and ruthless that no one dares to defy. He ruled the continent of Mu with equipped with his powerful mace before it became a lost continent.

It is said that when he first came to the land, he saw and he immediately summoned his minions to lay waste on it. He was so powerful that he was able to conquer one town after another. He led his army of dragons and fenrirs to destroy the atlas brave knights and the town of Lorencia. He was able to defeat Freya of Noria and siege the Draks of Atlans. He also overpowered the magical powers of the grandmaster of Devias headed by Wizard Alviss.

Though it all hope seems lost for all of humanity and fairies alike, there is this one kingdom of whom the dark lord emperor failed to conquer—the kingdom of the clouds by King Garuda protected by his army of sky people. The kingdom of the clouds was then out of reach from the dark lord emperor for it was situated in the sky. He has no means of reaching it. To defeat Garuda and his army he went to the fallen kingdom of Icarus and enslaved all flying creatures living there.

However, it is too late. The plans of the dark lord were leaked into King Garuda and his army and they were able to prepare for the battle ahead. Hence, the greatest battle in the skies in the whole continent of Mu commence. Dragons and Fenrirs versus King Garuda, brave atlas knights of Lorencia with dinorants, fairies and their summons and Wizards of Devias.

It was one massive blow to the chest by King Garuda that injured the Dark Lord Emperor and his army was defeated with the help of the remaining forces of the Lorencia, Devias, Atlans, and Noria.

To completely stop the Dark Lord Emperor, the council of Lorencia, the Fairy Elves of Noria, Draks of Atlans and Wizards of Devias decided to seal him in Tartarus. Tartarus was the deepest abyss that is used as a dungeon of torment and suffering for the wicked. It is said that the place where souls are judged after death and where the wicked received divine punishment.

A portal was then summoned and the Dark Lord Emperor along with his powerful mace and his minions was thrown into Tartarus. As he falls towards the deep abyss, full of anger and thirsty for revenge he grabbed his mace, invoked the spirit of dark arts and possesses it. He then has thrown his mace along with his ring of magic outside the portal before it closes to escape punishment. The ring was all that was found outside the portal and his mace was nowhere to be found.

Hence, the council took possession of the ring and tried to destroy it but it was indestructible. It was then decided by the council to be kept in the castle in the Valley of Loren for safekeeping fearing the dark lord emperor might return someday to claim what rightfully his.

All kingdoms were then notified for the immediate search of the missing mace. As time goes by, the people grew weary of finding the mace of the fallen king and it was soon forgotten.

Three thousand years later after the continent of Mu has been found, an oracle of the elves shown a vision towards Karis, the wielder of the legendary armor of the Spirit of Argo that the Dark Lord Emperor will return soon.

It was then stated by the oracle that the mace and the rings has the ability to summon the Dark Lord Emperor again. Further, whoever wields the Tartarus mace of the emperor and its ring of magic will be granted immeasurable power to command all creatures of the land and summon an army of dragons and fenrir. However at the expense of being consumed by the tyrannical and ruthless will of its previous owner. Until now, the mace is nowhere to be found, waiting for someone ambitious enough to find it and wield it.

Anubis Legendary Set

Anubis was named after the God An`biss the guardian of dead souls of iMU continent. He was raised by Pasi the Mage after his parents died defending the town of Devias from a Dragon Invasion. He is also a descendant of a legendary wizard clan that worships An`biss. With a powerful wizard blood flowing through his veins, his skills in magic was unequalled, he could cast powerful spells that requires years of training at a very young age. Seeing this talents, Pasi trained Anubis under her supervision, teaching him not just spells and magic, but crafting magical items as well. Anubis trained and worked hard to be a part of the King’s elite guards to protect the kingdom of Loren. He was well known throughout the kingdom for he is the only elite guard that shines in blue armor. He wore a legendary set of armor passed down from generations to generations. The set is said to be blessed by An`biss himself.

One day, the town of Lorencia was attacked by an army of Giants and Lich followed by Skeletons from the Dungeons. The King ordered the elite guards to protect Lorencia for he knows the town would not survive such assault. It was in that moment, when Anubis saved the blacksmith Hanzo from a lightning attack casted by a thunder lich. He saved Hanzo by giving him a protective shield of pure mana. When the dust settled, dead bodies lied on every corner and every road of the small town. The townsfolk that survived are thankful for the King have not forgotten his people. Hanzo on the other hand, was so grateful to the man who saved his life and as a token of gratitude, he forged and gave Anubis a ring, decorated with a red jewel. It was a craft of great beauty.

As Anubis looked upon the ring, he thought of imbuing it with magical powers that would help him in battles. He spent days and nights inside the castle, lights flashes out from the windows of the room, as if a sword is being hammered by a blacksmith or a wisp is circling his quarters. He did not stop until he got what he wanted. One morning, he stepped out of the room and the other elite guards looked at him in surprise. He looked exhausted and yet the energy that surrounds him speaks differently. The ring shined brightly like it was flaming on his finger and a blue aura circled the ring because of the enchantments Anubis himself imbued it.

Years later, Kundun launched an assault against the Kingdom of Loren. The castle’s defences was easily breached by the forces of Kundun and the warriors could not hold them back. The elite guards are the only hope left for Loren and they have managed to do the impossible. Together with the King they pushed Kundun back to other side of the bridge, but it was not enough. Kundun still has the upper hand. Anubis, making his last effort in protecting the Kingdom, raised his staff and focused all of his powers, light and arcane energy gathered to his staff and body. He mustered all the power he could get and holding it in for a moment. He shined so bright that people thought that the God An`biss was standing among them, then the light vanished. Anubis teleport right behind Kundun and before he could even move, Anubis strikes the earth and released all the energy that he charged in his body creating a super Nova. It killed all of the monsters and wounding Kundun badly forcing him to retreat. The King quickly looked for Anubis and found him with half of his body obliterated. They took him and gave him a proper burial. What’s left of the legendary set was given back to the Wizard Clan and they called it Anubis Legendary Set in remembrance of his sacrifice.

Alviss Grand Soul Set

Long time ago, a heavy storm strike the town of Devias and its continents. It was horrifying storm that the town of Devias nearly is remove from it's existence. On that period of time almost all civilians panicked and is shivering to death. The storm lasted for so long civilians are having a dilemma wherein stocks of goods like foods, clothing is running out and it isn't enough for the community.

Forefathers tried to travel and buy stacks of goods from the nearby continent of Noria but the storm won't let them, they where blasted by big waves of wind. Lead them to die on their journey leaving their love once not knowing if they're still alive. Some says they were abandoned by their parents because of the terrible weather and they were forgotten. A week passed and still the storm is still reigning leaving their hopes and faith hopeless if the storm will end.

One of them is dedicated and has faith that someday a miracle may happen, she was Priestess Sevine. According to her she sighted a prophecy on the deepest of the continent of Devias a warrior shall stop the destructive storm and will return the fair weather but warns that something may happen bad. When the villagers heard the rumours voluntarily, a group of young men prepared a journey to the deepest of Devias and fought the storm and be the warriors.

Sadly upon a mile a way of their journey a large chunk of ice hit them that killed most of the elite warriors of the population. The left once starting to panic and starts to retreat. But only one brave young men stand firmly and continue his journey to fought the storm, on his way he have encounter a "Giant Golden Thingy" which is known as "Golden Titan". And is protecting a "Black Orb" the power of the orb was very strong controlling the weather that makes a heavy and destructive storm. This young men didn't wasted time and had a combat with the Gold Titan, the fight lasted long that the Golden Titan doesn't stand down until, a soft spot was hit by this young men at last he can stop the storm yet there is still a missing part on how to stop the "Black Orb".

The defeated Golden Titan laughed and said "You can"t stop the destruction of this continent! The Orb is too powerful that no one can't match" wuhahahahaha! Soon you'll die.... (the spooky golden thingy fainted and died XD). The young men starting to tear down and cry, young men said "I'll not stop untill this Black Orb stops even if my life is to exchange. I didn't came here for nothing". He step up and grabbed his staff and aimed it to the Orb. He screamed endlessly absorbing the power of the "Black Orb" by his willingness and bravery to stop it and end the storm. Then a massive explosion happen scattering his remains, after then the storm stop and all was happy, the weather was on great shape. The civilians waited for the return of this young men but he didn't return. No one knows his name is but on his remains scattered on the continent of Devias, his vest had a mark "Alviss".

His lost was unacceptable, many civilians wants to know how he did it and how he stop the storm?
Some even make stories of him still alive but has no clear evidence. His body wasn't found but his heroism will never be forgotten.
They term his set Alviss Grand Soul,
because he have save many souls and also their beloved town Devias.

Months later the set was gone and is taken away by an outsider, his name was "Promethues" to be Continued:
