Can't see my characters

I already followed the instructions given on the website.

1. log in without capital letters in your user name(tried and true, didn't work)
2. Reinstall (a waste of time, did absolutely nothing
3. Patches (already installed them, again...didn't do jack &^%$)
4. clicking the "disable" button on the last thing in the option on the launcher that says to click disable if I experience any difficulties(did nothing.)

I haven't been on in like a year...but when I log into the website it says my characters are still there, I'm not banned I know that for sure...oh and when I go to create a character it says too many characters, so I know my characters are there...I just can't see them no-matter what I do.

any help would be appreciated.

this happens mostly when u dont type your account name acorrectly at login. Send me in Private Message how you type in your account name at login

problem resolved. I found out what I was doing wrong.

the instructions on the website told me not to use ANY capital letters in the username, but really all I needed to do was make the first letter capital. Perhaps you should add that as another instruction on the websites FAQS section.

u need to enter correctly your username thats the clue, nothing other.
