Hello guys. My name is Michael and i wanna play this game again (i used to play it 6 or 7 years ago). I found on google some good things about this comunity and i wanna start a new character here.
But i have a big problem. When my game launches, i have super lag. I barely can move my mouse.
My PC specs shouldn't be a problem (have 4GB RAM) and all my drivers are up to date. I browsed the forum but couldn't find anything that could help me.
L.E. I am runing on W8

What country are you from? If you are in EU places please choose the Server 7 Channel which is based in EU While Server 3 is from USA. If yo experiencing lag in Server 7 The main problem of your client is a low connection. Pls update it here once your problem is solve or needs more attention :)

I am from Romania, my internet conection shouldn't be a problem

- i uninstaled and deleted infinitymu
- i downloaded and instaled it again
- instaled antilag program
- deactivated AV and FW
- have updated drivers (except hard drive, i'm not sure what you mean cranzy)

Still not working properly.

I tryed again. Launched the client, selected server 7 but when i was about to enter the pw i got the : "you've been disconected" message. Half an hour ago i was able to creat 1 character, but i did in like 5 mins.
 
50% sure the lag is due to you not having the proper drivers.

When I play MU on my desktop without ATI catalyst installed or at least the drivers for it I can barely move around. I have similar specs to you 4gb ram dual core.

What is your graphics card?
To check it click start type "dxdiag" open it and click display and put your gfx cards name so I can search the drivers for you.

This are my specs. I never tought my drivers would be the problem since i never had problems with other games or programs before.

Used this but still not working :(

Update your graphic card driver but make sure it is compatible with your graphic card and windows. You can find it Here.
 
Finally, it works. Had to download latest beta AMD Catalyst to get it work.
