Player Hosted Event [Event] Inspiration

Hello Infinitians,
There comes my next event!
It is something a bit different than usually, it is called "The Inspiration".
In this event what you have to do is post a video that motivates or inspires you OR write your own inspirational story about something that happened to you.
For example, you could write your own story about moment of your life when you were having some big problem/s and you managed to find inspiration, motivation to move on .
The event starts today (3/10/2013) and will end up on Monday (7/10/2013), after which i will decide the entries that win 1st, 2nd and 3rd place!
As well, I will have in mind the amount of thanks that each entry will get.

The prizes are :
1st place - 1500 webshop credits
2nd place - 1000 webshop credits
3rd place - 500 webshop credits

*Edited: I was asked if i will provide the credits via sms donation, so i will explain. I did Spanish translation to the game rules, from which i should receive as prize 3000 credits, but i decided, instead of taking them in my account, to imply them in this event, with the collaboration and agreement of RESiSTANT.

Rules:
One 1 entry per person, you can't change your video or story after submitted, only correction of language is accepted but not change of entry
You can choose video OR story, not both.
Entries with offensive, insulting content will be ignored & deleted

This is just a scene from the movie "The Pursuit of Happyness" but this movie really inspired me not to give up and taught me to stay strong whatever problems or struggles I go through. And it also made me realize that I am still somehow lucky because I have family, home and friends who are there to support me and to always be there. I recommend you guys to watch this very inspiring movie of Will Smith, you will not regret watching this instead you will learn lots of lessons in this movie. :smile:

Last night i was searching for a declamation piece for my final demonstration in our subject and guess what, i was touch by this piece. It was the first time i heard this piece. I am inspired by this piece and made me realize that i should not waste my time on ignoring my parents effort, to thank them to what they have done for me. I'm too shy to express that really love them. I should not waste the time left for me to show them the love they wanted from a child they raised for how many years. It is our love that will serve as the pay back for the sacrifices of our parents.

Same like in the movie "Forrest Gump" i was born in 1994 in that part of the world, where great countries from Europe managed to gain their weathness, South America, specifically Merida, Venezuela.
The first 14 years of my life i dedicated to baseball as an athlete of high competence and, even though i didnt receive a lot of support from my parents, i always managed to stand out from the rest in what i did, my main goal was to play in the Major League Baseball, but at the age of 14, maybe the worst part of the adolescence, i was found a heart problem, which made doctors forbid me to continue to play baseball, which caused me a lot of emotional chaos inside. The same year i decided to go with a parner of mine to live in Colombia, a neighbour country, there i learned to live on my own, to get food myself, i received many hits from life and although this was the saddest time of my life, it was also the part where i learned most about life, how you have to live. Luckily, ever since i learned to read i like to do it, without them i wouldnt have the knowledge that i have nowadays and that i try to increment daily.

When i lost what i most wanted, the baseball, i thought that too young i was going to stop existing, i didnt believe in anything i did, life had no meaning for me, all i wanted to do is play and nothing else, even though i respect all types of believings, i always thought that when we die, we vanish, we go into some empty space where the only thing you can do is think, so i thought, „if life has no meaning, then why are we here?” and thinking about it a lot, i learned that what we do is what we will remember after when we are alone in this empty place , and that if you dont do anything with your life you will have nothing to think about after, this is the reason why i have decided to dedicate my life to do anything i can, i have danced, i have been skating, i have been DJ, i have sang, played infinite amount of games, i have done so many things that because of my health i had to operate my heart twice, because i want to have many things to remember after, when i am not here, some say that you dont die if the ones that live remember you, but these people in some moment will die as well and therefore will come a moment when nobody will remember you, that’s why i believe it is the best to accumulate in your mind lived experiences, achieved goals, dreams followed and do everything you possibly can.
