Like the idea in the old topic, i tried to reinstall many times, allowed the mu through my antivirus and firewall, turned off the antivirus and firewall but the launcher kept saying :" Failed connecting". It only happened on my laptop which runs OS windows 7. When i tried on my brother's laptop which is OS windows XP, it worked fine. Anyone helps me please ! i really want to play

I have windows 7 on my laptop and Mu runs perfectly, you have to allow the program to make changes on your computer.

P.S: I suggest you, don't disable your firewall again :)

Mmm, it's kinda hard to explain.

For example, if u haven't done any changes to your os.. Everytime you install or run a program your annoying w7 asks you if you are sure of it and if you want to allow the program to make changes. But when u click on yes, it's just for that time.
As far as i remember on the lower corner, at the left, there's is an option for making always the same, you should do that.

What?

Just go to the Home section of your PC, type Firewall, Firewall and search options, and disable, then go back to Start, type Windows Defender. Go to the appropriate options, and disable it.

I, too, did that disconnected me and now I have no problem, I just fine =)

Don't disable your firewall.
In all case disable the personal firewall of your anti-virus, but never disable your firewall.

1. Install the full client downloaded from our site and do NOT apply any patches.

2. Right click on mu.exe and click Run as administrator then click Yes.

3. Wait for it to connect to our ftp and receive all updates.

3.1. (First Solution) If update fails then apply the latest patch first delete MuGuard folder and all root files except Data, Resolution and Photo folders in your client folder. second copy and paste all files from the latest patch to the client folder.)

3.2 (Second Solution) If update fails try to add mu.exe and main.exe to your antivirus/firewall exceptions.

4. Once update is completed you should see connect button and probably login and play without problem. :)

If your client keep syncing files then probably you have to try disabling UAC (http://www.blogsdna.com/1815/how-to-disable-uac-turn-off-uac-in-windows-7-beta-1-build-7000.htm).

Remember:

1. Use an Anti-virus software like from Eset.com or kaspersky.com (MuGuard blocks your game if virus is detected in your computer)

2. Do NOT download any cheats, bots, tools etc.

3. Update your computer using Windows Update
