Game Auto Close

Hi im new here. i got a problem like in the sister server insania.
my client always auto closes. a couple of time every +/- 30mins w/o DC notice.
just automatically closes the game.
i noticed this since yesterday when i play the game.
i read all the possible solutions here in the forum but nothing worked for me.
i hope i cant get solution here. cause it hard to play when the game always closes.
i also exclude main.exe in my antivirus.
i off my firewall
i also try Data Execution Prevention but none of this works for me.

im using laptop.connected to router cable.
core i3 w/ updated graphics card driver.
4gb ram
and my connection is pldt 1-3mbps

hope someone can help me, cause im enjoying the game.

PS:i also play ran online here in my laptop but never auto closes. so i really didnt know whats the real cause of the auto close of my MU in my laptop.

Hi! I got the same problem but it's very weird. Sometimes I sleep while i leave my client open then when i wake up, it's still there. That's like 7-9 hours. Sometimes i can also play for up to 6 hours while doing other things and leaving my mu in the tab. But those doesn't happen always. I never reach 1 hour+ when i play. Auto close happens for me with or without WTFast. Also did the DEP and main.exe is in my antivirus' exception. Also tried running it in compatibility+run as administrator. But still doesn't work. Same for my friend as well, his client auto-closes as well, but when my friend Xanne took a vacation in hong kong(i think there's a good internet connection there), this "auto-close" thingy never happened to him. When i knew that, i just accepted that damn PH ****s. When he returned here at philippines, auto close happens to him again Note that he was using the same laptop that he uses here when he was in hongkong. I conclude that the reason is internet connection We also got a lot of PH players here who doesn't encounter it (i got one friend who has globe as his ISP, and auto dc never happens to him which is [VN]Chi[/VN]) so i'm still trying to figure out what's wrong really.

That's uncommon. It only happens for like, thrice a month? hahaha. Well this only started for me when server was switched to europe.

hey AntraxX try restarting your PC when u play the first time in your computer.. sometimes if u play games like dota2, it has a debugger on it that causes the InfinityMu game disconnected.. try it dude.. maybe it can help.. ^_^

i recently uninstall and reinstall the client with my antivirus off and firewall i also uninstall the ran online,
but samething happens it auto close the client.
im expecting helps from the pro.moderators gm`s and admin.

what do you mean i will restart my laptop before i play infinity?
i dont play any other games like dota2. haha i just have here infinitymu. i delete my ran online few mins ago.

As i read the post above you and Moorse have the same problem, i want to give my opinion also. Well, you're using PLDT as your ISP and we knew that PLDT is the largest internet provider here in philippines. Recently, last march they have released customer advisory too all their client(have you notice that?) due to fiber breaks between asian countries. But its almost july now, i dont think they have been fixed the issue. So, i guess the problem is your ISP. I'm using GLOBE as my ISP and gladly i never had problem from ig-name as you guys experienced. That's how i see your problem Have you tried to re-install the game?

Arima, try to reinstall the game but sadly, Re-installing didn't solve my problem

Start Menu > Right click on Computer and hit Properties > Advanced System Settings (on the left side menu) > Advanced (tab) > Performance (section) > Settings (button) > Data Execution Prevention (tab) > Tick the first option "Turn of DEP for essential Windows programs and services only".
Click Apply, Click OK and restart the computer. After restart the game is running properly.

That's weird. Tried scanning your PC looking for any virus? That might be the reason, something closing the mu.exe . Suggest you use this program: Malwarebytes. If it doesn't work then use THIS TOOL, Kaspersky special tool for this type of rootkits, to remove this Trojan Rootkit and restore to Original the API functions altered by the said Rootkit.

i also download malwarebytes and scanned my laptop but no virus/malware found out on m laptop.

still the same problem with my infinity client and sister server insania.
always auto closes the client more or less 30mins after i login my char.
i already try the suggestion of others but seems not working with me.

i try to install other mu online server 2 diff. client(im doing this as an experiment)
and i got no DC or auto closes client at all for around 7hours straight from both 2 server.
so i dont really know if its my connection. bcoz if its my connection i will be get DC not auto closes the client. well thats only my theory.
i love infinity and insania and i dont like the 2 server i downloaded i will be stick on this server,
