Hello infinitymaniacs,

Well guys, I am here with an idea and suggestion. For me Guild Buff system is something good but the mechanics that how it works is just fully annoying for me. Well, Guild buff system works with 5 different stages and each increased stage gives different increased buff levels. This is great. But what is not great is - for to increase this stage into max level, you need overall resets. In short, Guild buff system works with overall resets of members. What? and why? :) InfinityMu is and always been an instant pvp game Mu server. Its consept is this. Why in a server where things are high rated and designed for PVP we need a system which works with reset counts? Our main goal for being here is not doing resets, isn't? Hell yeah, the ones whose doing it gets their rewards with credits and top ranking.

So my suggestion is replacing this nonsense reset system with Guild point system or just Guild war count system(Only win or win/lose together). Now - LOGIC? Simple, guild buff sytem and its mechanics created for to make people being active and do something to make their pvp balance buffed. But why for pvp and for guild benefits(where guild system in InfintyMu only used for pvp purpose) people need to do PVM consept which is leveling and reseting? Instead let people increase their guild RANK which is stage by the way to level 5 only with system that belongs to Pvp and guild gameplay itself.


Pros of idea(for me only): Will make pvp active not only as single but as group gameplay. Instead people not reseting and bringing some activity which thought that they will, with this system, they will bring activity. Because, guild war is a game system and not boring like resetting but fun as hell. Stronger your guild is, better your guild buff rank be.
Cons of idea(for me only): There may be some cheating on war.



What you say guys? Which is better and follows the logic?

well bro for me bad idea cause a lot of guys here have work not have full free time for the game some 1 like me when i don't have free time i prefer use $ to get it not every 1 have free time to focus on the game this is my own idea thx

Hello friend :-D I guess you didn`t understand me well :)

I am not suggesting some new feature. Or this suggestion is not against any donation themes. We just have Guild Buff system which works with only RESET Count of Members of a guild. Where, I am trying to suggest: Let's change it and make Guild Buff system works with Guild points or Guild War count. We all have time for some PVP isnt? That`s why we are here :-D My suggestion scales with that.

Hello, its good idea.
Rlly soon ppl trying guild war with any 1 guild , and in game activity is soon up.

You can keep the option for people who love to do resets or the ones who want to donate. And make this as another way to stage up in guild buff. But idk if its possible to observe this whole thing.

This isnt a bad idea to bring back guild fights and guild wars. We can keep guild buffs earned via resets and add guild buffs earned via guild wars. Its for everyone yeah? hehe

Hello, For me is a good idea, seeing that the guild buff only counts the resets of the Guild members ONLINE and there is a problem because people cant be online all the time and the guild buff always decrease when are a few members Online, so if we change to Guild war points, the buff alway will be there according to the points each guild have

but i imagine it will be problems because: 1. Now Guildwars are buged,need to be fixed. 2. Several people have paid for the 5k reset. 3. need a lot of control in the guildwars

Nice! Good Idea, but somehow if i am a Guild Master i will just create a dummy account with a dummy guild and have a war on it and will earn on points without any sweat. Anyways if it is possible earning guild buff with war there should be a requirement before declaring a war just like an example of having a 5-10 players online to declare a war.

The main idea of the suggestion is right , i agree with the written words above but partially.
The part i will have to disagree is to change the system making it depend on guild war counts and points , simply because ,

• People will kindly abuse the guild wars just to reach the highest goal

Inclining to the fact that guild buff must be something that demands a sweat , time , unity and maybe some dollars. Guild masters depend on members they recruit to make the guild tough , guilds depend on alliances , alliances are made to mainly attack the castle siege . I would like to nominate my ideas in your thread Abesta , with your permission,

• Main owner of the buff should be the guild that leads the alliance .
• Increasing the stages of the guild buff to some high number so it will take a time to reach the maximum level. • The alliance that wins the castle siege are given a chance to step up on a next stage and spread the buff to the whole guilds in alliance including themselves.
•Once the alliance has been disbanded , the buff they obtained loses unless the free guilds are looking for a new alliance to attack the castle siege with .

It will be a great favor in few more things ,

• People will think twice before disbanding the alliance after a one unlucky lose in castle siege and keep the alliance until they reach a stuff for what they have made a team.
• It will prevent the useless alliances that registers to castle siege with 0 chance to win and force them to look for a real good alliance that tries hard as a team for a long period .
• And generally speaking , it will prevent to see the new alliance every week that doesn't look good .

I have connected the guild buff that is useful in PVP with the castle siege event because i think these 2 things are knocked into one in some ways.

This is what my idea consist about , but this is just idea that is good and equity in my opinion.

The system as it is now is ok.
About guild wars we had something planned to revamp them as well but as you already know... things are not that simple.
At first we designed a fame system. Fame would have been a character status awarded by winning specific evwnts such as BC DS CC etc. Something similar to rena system. And based on character fame, a total score for each guild similar to resets count. But it would have meant a new item/token in game, a new system (as rena and golden archer)... too much of a hustle...
Also the ways of obtaining fame were pretty few only from a handful of events so... we needed more than that.
All in all it was a huge design of a brand new system that was 100% original and very hard to design and implement. But hey... you never know what future might bring :)
For now we will stick to this system.

Aight guys, Dream's answer got the thread. Thanks to all who read and commented their ideas as well. So, no reason for this suggestion not to be in Denied's sub :-D
