Did you ever try to open the main.exe in the folder , and by the way , if you have an advance anti virus , anti virus would also block the game .

make a shortcut for main.exe... on your desktop >>> proprieties >> Compatibility>> run as>>>windows NT 0.4

You can aslo try , Windows 2000 . if you dont have Windows N.t.

Try to run as administrator. , or re install the game.
