Hi all, I receive this error after launching the game from launcher.

I have added exceptions in my anti virus and windows defender, but still no luck. I have also tried re installing the game.

Any help would be much appreciated! I am really keen to play this server.

thanks in advance :)

Hi, have you tried running the game as an administrator?

Click right mouse button on the InfinityMU Launcher and select "Open file location".
Click right mouse button on launcher and select "Run as administrator".

See if updating net framework helps: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet-framework
Make sure you have drivers and Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable installed, scroll down in: https://www.infinitymu.net/downloads

Sometimes restarting the computer helps, try it if you haven't yet done it.

Hi,

You're using an outdated client version. Try to run AutoUpdate.EXE from your client folder. Try downloading the new game client from website if updater doesn't fix your problem. Let us know what happens.

Thanks for your help. I only downloaded the client yesterday, and it did not have autoUpdater in folder. I found this on downloads section though. After updating I ran the launcher and still have the same error unfortunately.

I cannot seem to find a link for a new game client. Would you mind pasting it here if it isn't too much trouble?

So I have tried all suggestions so far and still no luck unfortunately :(

I am going to uninstall the game and try re-installing it from admin account.

Game client in website is the latest one. The pop-up window with the error shows that you are using build 3979 of anti-cheat this means your client is not up-to-date. Latest version is build 4476. Please contact me via VENCi#3206 (DISCORD).

Check your task manager for "suspended" MU process or running liveguard launcher and end its process, then try starting the game. I think I had similar problem in the past and this fixed it.

Problem was missing full admin permissions on the windows account. User was able to join in-game now using his admin account. Who ever receives same error he should try logging-in with admin user on his windows so he can receive the latest updates.

Case is closed.
