Introduction
This is what nearly everyone has been debating about for a long time in a LOT of servers, not just INFINITY MU. Some say that Blade Master is the most dominant class in normal stats servers and in reset servers. Some say dark lord dominates, while others say they are equals and it is just dependent on who pilots or uses them. In this thread a forumer is expected to express his stand on which class he/she thinks is stronger.

My Stand
As far as you know i barely PVP cause i enjoy killing easy monsters more =). I am a Duel Master User, i have poor skills in piloting BM's and LE's but In my own opinion in this server the BM is more dominant. This is because of the COMBO and because of the reduced attack speed of the Lord Emperor's and the fact that LE's are crippled with the disadvantage of having a cool down on one of their most devastating skills which is fire scream. Some people have said that "They are equals, it just depends on how you use them". I disagree with that statement because i have seen plenty of low pot-rate BM'skilling high pot-rate LE's. How much more if both of them have equal Pot-rates, the LE definitely stand no chance against a BM. As long as the LE's attack speed and damage is reduced in this server's character battle balance settings then BM stands as the "SUPERIOR CLASS IN INFINITY MU".​

for me BM is better if u want to make a good pvp, in case of DL.. i dont know he has a lot of atack, but low def.. so for me BM is better

DL has big dmg, but damage rate is low also speed of atack low DL ROX

Well with a good potrate a DL is hard to kill, without buffs you cant kill a DL even if he dont have swell, i tried it and its true.
And it has good dmg and atack speed also.

The DL is the same good as the BK.

i never tried , but i think dl will win, cuz dl has more defense and if u re tired u can relax a bit, with bk u need combo,ts and u cant relax so i think dl is better

It is a fair fight if you ask me given both the conditions are equal, but realistically a DL might win the battle due to endurance. BM's got to combo constantly to deal higher damage, whereas a DL doesn't!

Yes i agree with you that in the pilot's part, using a DL will be much easier because you only have to POT and use FireBurst. BUT, truth be told, there are already BM users that can use COMBO's while potting FAST for example Abesta(one of the best BM's i have seen fighting). And BTW Dark Lord's damage has been reduced in server 3 and server 5 making the DL's attack less hurtful in one-on-one PVP in server 3 and 5. But if it is in server 4 you might be right that the DL will win. Thank you for the great insight! i was waiting for someone like you to come :happyy:

Anyway, BM is dominant in servers 3 and 5 while DL "MIGHT" be dominant in server 4. After what has been stated, i can still say that BM is superior in this SERVER/REALM

Well maybe ive been gone for sometime in-game, but they were both balance. Theres some few tricks in DL that make him tough or giving an edge in 1 v 1 against bk.

maybe you have been gone that long man, for what i know DL's firescream has an added cool down, DL's attack speed reduced and DL's damage reduced.

I respect your view but As i have stated in my past posts I disagree with this because there are plenty of circumstances that the players dueling have equal skill,equal connection,equal pot rates. We can't just simply say that it depends on the pilot because it really does not take great skill to be a good MU player.In my opinion those who have been playing MU for a year are generally equal when it comes to skills in using his/her characters well. In MU, You just need a great connection, with decent hand eye coordination, but what if both players have equal connection and are of equal skill and experience? Drawn from data and personal experience i still have to say that the BLADE MASTER is superior in our server.

In this case DL have to use SD Decrease scepter, it will defend him against BK with SD Rate.

I dont think so it all depends of the way th guys play and their internet... if not a good internet connection to server you will die easly even with set dri7% and even more easy if SD rate5%... Its 80% for the skill of the guys and 20% for internet
