Hola!

This will gonna be a short posting but a suggestion that I'd like to experience.

I like the thanks button, but I wonder it starts to be kinda simple nowadays (as K said), I think it'd make the forums even cooler and practical if our Admins adds more reactions, just like fb ones (or similar), just trying to bring some few new things, it won't do any harm if gets granted!

as you know facebook only use positive reactions because of internet bully,

then there is a other big game company who use up and down votes ( ppl get mad there when they get alot downvoted.)

so work your suggestion bigger out. WHatk ind of reactions and etc.

ALso search google what is possible in these kind of forums.

Well, we are in the meme age, where everyone wants to meme everything, even at work we have a chat dedicated to memes, where we meme about our work, even my direct team leader. Fun. So, not to change things too much, "thanks" would still stay "thanks" and count towards it, but perhaps it can be like a multiple choice thanks, we could thank with "Thumbs up", with "Haha", perhaps even "Love", just for the banter and "Wow" for the surprised thanks. If this is doable, I would very much like to see this being added. Sometimes you could get a "thanks" in form of "haha" for being a dumba$$ xD

Dammit Nico you fully right, well, let's improve this suggestion with the people opinions.

Btw, I quoted the fb ones as an example. Of course I would like to see different reactions, if you ask me, I'd say to enable the coolest from the maddest one xD but that wouldn't be practical neither. So just some of them, the most needed ones.

I Bet everyone here at least once wanted to give a heart or an angry face or even an unlike depending on the situation

A decade old forum but we have a lot of changes in last decade from technalogy improvements to social platform improvements. So, why not, but if possible. Because when I suggested mention thing "@", I knew it is possible and it granted and implemented.

Infinite Buttons: Ability to create new buttons to press! No longer do you need to be limited by Thanks / Like / Dislike.

I think the "reactions" that will be needed here at forum are there: Like, Thanks, Dislike. We could communicate better with these. If we add something like "haha" or "angry" reaction, this two might be used for bullying.

In my experience (I have been co-owner of a server and was responsible for everything in forum), "Dislike" button is always used for bullying people. Some just use it because they don't like someone and adding this would just break everything. I don't think, that we need some "reputation" based reactions.

To put it simple, I think, that we need to remain in the same course, meaning, whatever your reaction is, it serves as "Thanks", but your thanks can be variated from "Thanks", "Wow!", "Haha", etc., only positive reactions, nothing else. Otherwise, I can guarantee, that sh!t fest will start.

I don't know if this counts but I tried to search and I think it's possible to implement certain reactions like "like",
"thumbs up" or "haha"
I just checked and our forum uses vbulletin and I saw an example here
where the user added a like button.

Granted and still in progress of improving. Thanks button still remains and functions the same way, functions of reactions still might change in near future until they are completely finished. Proper update when they are finished will be posted. But you can already go at it
