First, I really don't know if this is the right section for it. This will be like a suggestion/feedback and a guide to help marketers and other players avoid conflicts in trades.

As I can see, there are a lot of reports of missing items and scams in trades. Sometimes they got approved and sometimes they got rejected due to lack/not enough of proofs. I've been thinking about this since I came back last year but I didn't have the guts to post it. Maybe because I thought that everybody will just knew how to handle such things.
Anyway this is what I thought regarding the trades, item lost, and scamming. I just don't want you guys lose items that were produced from hard work and sweat. I've been there and it ain't pretty at all.
1.) First of all, have a sense of alertness and responsibility. Your account = your items = your responsibility. But if anything happens that you think it's out of your hand, you can always report here in forum if you got any problems. Staffs will do their best to help you out especially when you got enough proofs to show. About the proofs. Don't get angry if you can't show any because it's easy to report that you lost something and trick the management which is a dumb thing to do. This is just about security of all player. Bear with it. It's for our own good anyway.
2.) It's better to take down notes and screenshots of every trade you have. Try to be more organized. Every possible details like date, server, character name, items traded, time and other small details that can be helpful and useful in future uses should be noted down either in a computer notepad or in a real paper. Also, have a habit of taking screenshots every trade you got. Take SS's of the character names involved and items in the deal and rename those screenshot file names with the proper labels to avoid confusion in InfinityMU Folder > Photos. If possible, you can try to ask that player where he got those items. If it's from webshop, then it's cool. If it's from another player, note it down in the notepad too. These safety precautions can really help you a lot. Yeah, I know, it's a long process but hey, it's better to be safe than be sorry at the end. Once you got the hang of it, this will work out pretty good. Trust me. I'm an engineer. Don't fear.
3. ) If you have any program that can do recordings, this would be better, especially if the deal is getting weird and other things are involved rather than the normal trading process. If someone is trying to do a bug, something illegal, or anything weird at all, cancel it, open a recording program, reason out that you are lagging and your mom called you or whatever, then repeat the process with a recording program on. Although make sure you cancel the deal in the end and then report it at Bug Reports
4. ) If you can't provide any video proofs, make sure your screenshot-ed the important parts, chat logs, items, and character names and then post it at Missing Items Report / Bug Reports and carefully explain the situation. As I said, be alert and have a sense of responsibility. Better be safe than no items at all in the end.
5.) If you are going to use the Chaos Machine or talk to Jerridon, have a habit of SS'ing every item you are going to use. This will assure your items are 100% safe even in cases of dc or any bugs that will or might happen.
These are my tips in marketing in game and I didn't had any problems at all. This can ease the staff's work and help you with your complains FASTER and probably get your items sooner if fate allows it. I just want you guys to have a good game and enjoy the most out of it.
