Discussion Server Lag/Disconnecting

Hello Everybody,

I Just notice that when the server was brought back home in EU. The server got really lag compare in the last time that it was in USA. When I play here for the first time. ( Way back 2011 ) It was in EU but it's not that lag ingame, But today's server is really having a big lag in game. Not that I want to bring back the server @ USA. It's just it's not happy to play delay +Lag, If someone will reply here about my connection it was the same when I play here. Still the same speed of it. Do anyone know's what's happening about Lags/Delay/DC?? It's not about traffic at the port. It's like everybody is experiencing this kind of delays, With fast or slow connection we all got lags. Why? and how did it happened this kind of disturbance in game. It's like this before. Hope we can help each other here.

Hello Seju,

It is normal that you guys have big lag than 2011 EU server. Because before our HOST was in GER, but now it is in FRA. France is far from PH. I am from Azerbaijan, it is Asia but almost EU So when we had GE hosting, I could pot 10 per sec, which is good for 4mbs net speed and an Asian country. But after FRA, i have 2x slower pot rate with some delays and etc. FRA is far and that's why you guys experiencing with big lag.

Disconnects might be from hackers not the host, cuz one is caught already http://forum.infinitymu.net/showthread.php?78628-Banned-Account-1234qwer1 and today few players said that they had disconnects.

@Abesta-Well yes its far, even with wtfast its just the same, it just too lag
@Tech-Yes we exprience it few hours ago. Hope they'll be catch

try to use cmd.exe

type in

tracert www.infinitymu.com

check hops if there is request time out prolly laggy server or bad host.

check the last IP before it reaches the server france ip

use the one above as a basis on what server to connect in wtfast..

like
i prefer to use all DE (germany0 servers that france.. because its fast.. and everything is stable that going directly to FRANCE

Btw TheFearOne, the domain needs to be used is:

connect.infinitymu.net

With infinitymu.net the test will give a false result, as the game (connect.infinitymu.net) and web servers(www.infinitymu.net) are in different place. (And afaik the website is Cloudflare optimized)

Same here, since the server was brought to France I have been experiencing lags and delays too.. Hope admin will make some solutions on this matter so that the game will be fair to every one..
