Hello Infinity Community!

I am William Valentin, 25 years old, Male, from Philippines (GMT+8) applying for a Moderator position here in our forums. My main characters are *WiL, which you will usually see in server 1 doing resets, devil square, blood castle, or just joining events hosted by our EMs and GMs, and -Shinobi- which I use not so frequent while PvPing in stadium when I have some free time.

I was recently a College Lecturer for Information Technology in a public university here in the Philippines. I resigned as I want to take on lighter jobs to focus working on my Master's Degree (Master of Science in Information Technology). Currently I am a member of an ad hoc team of editors for a transcribing platform. Basically, we review the transcription (English audio/video into text) of the platform's AI and fix if there's any mistake.

I first played InfinityMU way back in 2009. I played for about 7-8 months and then I quit playing MU to focus on other things. I came back and played again in 2013 and played for about 4-5 months till I got too busy in College that made me quit again. I occasionally visit the forums/game from time to time during those long term breaks I had before. And so here I am now ready for a longer commitment, started playing again since second week of November 2019, I have been playing again for 3 months now.

Native language: Filipino
Other known languages: English (8/10), I am confident that I can communicate in English properly.

Why do you want to apply for this position?
- For the 10 years since I first started playing InfinityMU, although with lots of breaks in between, the server is always there whenever I want to play MU again. I am grateful for the server that it is still up and running, this is why I want to apply as a Test Moderator to show my appreciation by offering my service to help the community and assist the staff team. I also see it as an oppurtunity to learn new things that can help me grow as a person.

What are the new things I can contribute in the community?
- New things that I can contribute to our community are: A new kind of activity in our forums by helping host forum events and also advertising it in-game frequently, and a new perspective by being a "returning" player and is also active both in-game and in forums.

How much time can you invest in-game and in forum?
- As my work team is currently on a break, I can invest in around 5-7 hours daily on and off ,probably more. Once my work starts again it won't affect my time in forums that much because I work from home and can open forums while working. I also take a 10-20 minutes break every after 1-2 hours of work.

for last update , mods cant be emod in same time , better to focus on 1 thing, you left so many times , and the most you stayed is 8months , so idk im pretty sure some staff will complain about that

i saw you helping peoples on forum so if that would be enough for mod position i would say yes

My opinion, Currently the forum has good moderators but it is always good to have active staff and I see that its activity is very high, you have my yes !

Positive feedback both from the community and from the staff, which is not easy to achieve. You have the appropriate skill set, which is why I gave you the Forum Supporter position in the first place. You have gotten good amount of knowledge already by being in this position and it shows, you keep helping people as soon as you see the chance, your knowledge of rules and regulations is very good, better than I expected, to be honest. All in all, I can't really say anything bad, only thing you can really do is simply improve your skill set by actually doing what you have seen us do. SOOO..
