Discussion Siege Server with Potion Cool Down

Hi friends,

Siege server is now ready and configured with potion cooldown system... lets test it and give our opinions here. Potion cooldown is 0.200ms per pot. Makes it possible 5 potions per sec possible. (because in The Siege we use SD sets, right? Should keep the SD sets still usable as till now).

To be honest this is bad for siege, I suggest only fix the bugs in siege and everything else will fall under. Like you said, only sever 3 should have potion delay.

Plus only and majority only BK's wear SD. So DL's SM's Elf's are Heavily equipped with Defense and BK's will end up dying faster than everyone, plus the lag that happens there will end up messing up everyone with slow computers. Just my thoughts.

Well I'm not sure how its gonna be, because may be would be different for some cases. For example some sealers using sd set and it's so hard for some of them to stand alive until they seal, usually they dieing by some defender's soldier. Then how they are gonna to seal with pot cool-down it's interesting.
Also it's sometimes hard to kill some switchers. Because some of them are like immortal.

Overally if the players would use good tactic then they can kick the switcher. Just as Rupert said would be good if some bugs to be fixed or solved like DL's cyclone bug while opponent's seal. More details in Rupert's suggestion.

So i say doesn't need to touch the potion. No for pot cool-down.

HAHAHAHAAHAHA Honestly I dont know if this will work in high exp but in low xp I tried sealing, pot is so slow for me even using red pots but I survived with SD full set sealing. Maybe or obviously it's because there were less players there xD so I dont know if this will be good also it's unfair for us who doesnt have less than 100 ping because we wont be sure potting 5/sec p.s (dont say wpe or what i can record how i seal but no thanks other sealers might get tips.) Well worth a test!!! But I hope we wont lose cs becuz of this:)) Haha tyy

Disagree with these new update. Those comments above is true. Maybe those bugs are need to be fixed.

I disagree with this. If low potters can`t use SD set due their low pot speed, then we shouldn`t as well. So, I suggest, if you want to put cooldown in Siege server, put it like server 3. So everybody will almost be equal. Or don`t put it, because it will not bring any difference. Anyways, siege server even doesn`t need this cool down. Because not that much fast potters playing in CS. If they play, they don`t have their own ally but they are helping the others. So, cool down or not, will not matters at all, but if there should be cool down - 0.3 is better.

I think this update should be on server 3 so sd set are no useless.

I think, not to be greedy but what I suggested would be the best bet for siege sever, About sever three. Don't you ever think or seen how they play in sever three? Have you stayed in sever 3 for more than 3 hours straight of Pvp? Sometimes 6-7 hours? I think its nonsense, not for me but for others. Because when I combo I can kill them sometimes with one combo. Its really meaningless. But hey, I cannot change your mind Venci. But a little advice from others are good aswell. :]

best way to know is after the next siege how it will be. it can be good and it can be bad. it can go all directions.

There are alot ppl with good idea's about what could be changed in the siege. but every small step will work.

so just give it a try. nothing hurts with trying something out.


and i think that some of Rupert
idea's must be looked at to.

I think we need to give everything a tryout that can be better for the server.


this is only my opinium.

Tested it dam its cool but dunno yet in the CS, but this should be applied in server3 too! (y)

I agree with Asu. We tested it just 10 minutes ago , and it's pretty cool and awesome.
Hope to put it on server3 (COOL DOWN)

You should make it more balanced I mean make the deffence a bit lower and disable the cycleone skill for all class's except BM.

I would like to ask anyone if you can explain me how do they get the swtich so fast without running i'm talking about (DL's/SM's)

Simple > DL's using cyclone while opponent sealing until success then everyone warping back except DL. Then he summoning his pt mates and they holding switches then seal.
