Signature Size

Hello everyone, i'd like to make a suggestion about the max size of the signature allowed in the forum.
I noticed that many users here want a bigger signature,for example Titan's signature :

His signature is actually 2 signatures which both have 400x200 size
But his signature is actually looking like its only one and has the size of 400x400

So my question is why not let people have 1 signature of the size 400x400, instead of 2 400x200, or just, you can either have 2 signatures of 400x200 ,and if you pass that size you can only have 1, since some of the signatures look better in bigger size
I think people would be happy if they could choose between 2 smaller signatures and only one that has a bigger size

For example personally i'd choose to have a single signature of size 500x200 instead of 2 signatures of size 400x200.

Its called "creativity" Hervium. This is one way to create new kinds of GFX without violating the rules. Coz I can see that the rule clearly state that only 2 signatures are allowed. What creativity are you talking about dude?making a signature of size 400x400 then cut it in half? annyone can do that.
And i'm not only talking about gigantic sigs of size 400x400, but for example signatures of 500x200 or 500x300, they should be allowed as well.For example i'd rather have one 500x300 than 2x 400x200.

I think that your suggestion is possible,but it would depend on what the staff members will implement on behalf of the rules set by them.I think that the signature size is enough for me and my needs,but some players do want bigger ones,I think there must be a compromise on the situation,so I agree with your suggestion to increase the size but to a certain limit,so there wouldn't be gigantic signatures.This suggestion I think would be taken into advisement with the staffs and GFX team.

I am just agree with you, bcoz in rules of Signature you see "you are allowed to use 1sig, 1userbar, 1quote" but I want to use sig double 400x200 (400x400) and 1 userbar and 1quote.

Actually the signature of 400x400 cut in half because there is rules of max size siggy is 400x220 / 400x200 or 220x400 / 200x400 and max number of siggy is 2 thats why~ :biggrin:
If we want change rules of max siggy size to 400x400 maybe we can suggest add:
"if use 400x400 then max number use siggy is 1"
or
"if you use siggy size more than 400x220 / 220x400 maximum number siggy allowed is 1 and max size is 400x400"

Sorry for the miss interpret. Its a good suggestion though. But I think it consumes too much space in each page. Some of the players/users wrote too many texts + the 400x400 size signature is too much.

The signature rules are already quite complicated (fragmented in forum rules and warning procedures), adding one more condition probably would just make it more hard to understand and follow them.

@Heruvim, I can agree with the sense of your suggestion, however I think the best would be a predefined size that all images in the user's signature can use (like a canvas for signature pictures and for user bars with the size of 400x400 px or 400x460 px), where freely any sizes and any number of images would be allowed, until their summarized horizontal and vertical sizes don't exceed the max allowed. That would make the corresponding rules and regulations a way more simple too, and give more freedom for the users too how they would use their space (the "canvas").

I can see seju doing some siggy back then. I was always at his side and watch him do his thing.. Also we are doing Photoshop Classes in our school. Which is related to our course. I don't really don't know what's a signature is. altho seju told me that this is a banner that represent your imagination, and some rules are implemented for this. Which is not to overdo the size which is 400x200, I think heruvim go a great point of view in this one while seju is teaching me what to do I saw some people with small and big signature and i don't get it why. P.S I want too ;( With a girl picture. Back to the topic. I think this one will be a good idea. So that everyone ( artist and non artist ) can express there self to the limit

Of course it's a good suggestion.
I mean, what the hell, i got warned because i was using a signature of 410x198, i mean, you kiddin' me? It's 8 square pixels.
That's one weird ass rule. We should be allowed to use singatures like 450x150 450x200 450x250 470x200/190/180 and so on.
So yeah, i agree.
The maximum size right now it's just wrong.

Yeah, I like this Suggestion. As Heruvim said 2x of 200x400 or 400x200 is just the same with 500x200 Pixels. To be exact you won't be allowed to use/add 1 signature or else a mod will give you infraction on breaking the rules here..

So the present size of our signatures are 400x200/200x400 and you only have 2x Signature that can be use..
so if heruvim suggestion will be approved, The standard size of the Signature will be a 500x200 size ( Under this measurements will be accepted, as long as they won't exceed the said measurements ) This size will be equal to 2x of 400x200/200x400 ( a suitable size ) So if you already got that 500x200 signature you can't add one more.. But! If you got smaller than 500x200 (ex.450x200) then you may add some stuff like Banners or some text that you might want to blog.. I'm not saying that we need to do a new rule. Just update it. Just the size of the signature are the only one who will be change.

I agree to Heruvim's suggestion.. Or maybe the players can choose what size of sig they want either the 2 400x200 or 1 400x400 sig..

I like the suggestion. Depending on the requester if what size he wanted. And 400x400 is still the same with the 2 400x200/200x400 signatures. As long as its 1 400x400 signatures each user. With the approval of the administrator the suggestion is Granted.
