[Suggestion]Attorney/Lawyer in forums

Good evening guys,

I was browsing through the threads while being in-game when i saw some-one getting banned for no reason or a simple misunderstanding only. As we know , truth be told that more than 70% can't express them selves through the the international tongue since 70% speak a different Language. Thus, making it difficult for them to defend themselves from false accusations , and difficult for them to construct a decent ban appeal. As members of infinity, all of us have the right to be defended or to defend from the law! It is a fact that some staff members tend to get one sided when the friendship is too close(Not an insult, just stating the FACT!). We need normal players who can defend, Protect, and serve the normal members

I would like to suggest that our Forums have a new TAG/RANK, which is the LAWYER:

*a lawyer can view report threads
*a lawyer can view ban appeals
*a lawyer can help defend his client
*a lawyer has no moderator power such as deleting,closing, and re opening threads
*a lawyer can post on report threads
*a lawyer can post on ban appeals
*a lawyer is banable when showing distorted facts
*a lawyer can choose to ask or not ask for payment of his services(Payments and transactions are confidential)
*a Lawyer cannot defend someone when authenticated proof is provided
*a lawyer cannot defend someone who is clearly/obviously guilty


Provided above are the cant's and can's of the LAWYER rank/tag.

I hope for this suggestion to be approved.

I am open for interrogation, questions and clarifications

I like your point, so i will up-date the cant's of a LAWYER

i will add "a Lawyer cannot defend someone when authenticated proof is provided"
and "a lawyer cannot defend someone who is clearly guilty"

but!, you have made a Fallacy!(not challenging you intelligence)

1st- You are Generalizing "HACKS/CHEATS" as the only possible offence

2nd-You have never tried getting banned for no reason, thus making you ineligible to make a statement such as that ; "Game Master, President, Forum Administrator, Staff Police HGM is enough to judge if he / she is guilty"

3rd-Staff members sometimes(very rarely) ban so called "CHEATERS" with no authentic proof.

Thus! stating my facts, your post has been compelled!

It's just the same as before, the only difference is with the presence of a lawyer the chance for justice is increased and perhaps maybe even hastened.

I agree to this suggestion. Since ban appeals and reports are private, then maybe there should be a few representatives who are unbiased and aimed for JUSTICE!

It isn't complicated. Each and every players have the right to defend themselves but sometimes (like MurdaInc have said before) some players can not communicate well in the language of English. So therefor, he/she should have someone (a lawyer) to review his/hers case and defend it. But here is my point of view and I would like to add something.

Payment of service. Lets look at a lawyer as a law enforcer. Lawyer have the right to enforce laws on "Game Masters" if they wrongly accused someone who didn't do what he/she ("Game Masters") said they did. Payment shouldn't be include in this act. It should be an act of generosities and good deeds. Why? Because if you really look deep down at it. Players are the one that is helping the server by playing daily / voting / donating and helping us in many different ways. And to honor that, each individuals should give in his/her own efforts to help those players and the community as well. Without players, there won't be Admins/Game Masters/Moderators and ect. Game Masters sometimes tend to abused their powers (not an attack to anyone just a FACT) just because they disliked someone. Bias decisions by Game Masters is also a problem (taking side). Therefor, lawyer should be elect / select to try to minimize these problems. To defend and protect our rights as Infinitians. It shouldn't be look at as a job but a volunteer work based on goodness inside that person. So payment SHOULD NOT BE INCLUDE!

You're right. They do use cheats/bugs and so on. But if you think about it, who is the main back bone in gaming servers like this?
Game Masters or Players?
And when I said "GMs sometimes abuse their powers and I know that for a fact" it wasn't meant for any specific person. It was based on observations and general knowledge from the past. Some GM got demoted for abusing their powers, Am I Right? (in the past)
So of bottom line is that GM do abused their powers.

And by reporting a GM what use is it gonna do when other players (normal players like myself) can't access it? Only the Staff Team/Mods/GMs/Admins/Forum Heros and Support can read those threads/post and sometimes some of them are bias (asslickers) and kissing up to one ass. So that report will just be denied.

That is why we need Lawyer. Normal players, like myself, that want to stand up for what is right.

And btw MageDragon that picture "B*tch Please" isn't appropriate to be posted. Since we have players that do not want to be exposed to that kind of stuff. And this is a professional discussing area pictures like that also aren't appropriate. You should know better. "Game Master"

If you want it public again, I suggest you form a panel of JURY. This group of people will be the special and privileged ones who can see the proof, and decide for themselves whether or not the punishment is suitable. Of course, the final decision still goes to the administrators.

Jury: a group of persons sworn to render a verdict or true answer on a question or questions officially submitted to them.

These group of people stand on equal terms as the GFX members, and have no special access to the game or forum whatsoever.

Staff Report section is visible by everyone and everyone can reply lol,and again you stating "facts" without "proof",what benefit RESiSTANT gains from having Staff that abuse their powers? lol
