[Suggestion] - "Spam Report" As new forum section.

Hello,

Today I'd would like to add a new section in the "Report Section", named "Spam Reports". Noticed that it hasn't been implemented yet so would be an good idea :).


-PROS:
*Less work for our Moderators.
*Players can guide themselves and make an proper report in the correct section instead posting it anywhere.
*Whenever the staff need to find a thread or so, they can search in the correct section instead checking all them.


-CONS:
None :3.



However if you have an better suggestion or something to add in this one it will be welcomed.

That is a good idea you come up Wrathbinge.. In that way, all players who are banned in spamming can trace why they are bannned and in what section they are banned from spamming.. Just like me, my forum account godsmage was banned by spamming but in different section and I dont remember all that section ^_^ .. So, by the time my forum account will be uplifted again I can checked all the the section where I get banned due to spamming..
 
Big agree! I made semi same suggestion in 100x, but some legends/staffers wrote that when we report someone (example) for spam, doesn`t matter where we report him. But I am still for this (some more sections for reports) or just add 'Others'. But in 100x there is prefix not like here, maybe because of this in 100x doesn`t matter.

Maybe because 100x has not that activity like 9999x does. But honestly i think every report should go in the correct section :).

Spam section for forum reports?
If you are talking about game,I think we have too many reports sections already and spam goes in Harassment section. In forum reports i don't find it necessary because there aren't so many forum reports anyway so there is no need to complicate the system even more.

I'm talking about in-game reports. Yeah there are too many, but Harassment section still not the correct one for spams. Don't you think? I still remember we could see months ago people reporting in harassment, bug reports, advertising and so. And we both know those aren't the correct ones :P. It's just an simple forum section, it won't hurt anybody :P.
 
Hello, We pretty much show who gets banned in forums. They always post it in ban list, reasons why they got banned. Plus the moderate give infractions for you to know what happened. For us to post reports about spam is considered spamming, because our moderate look at majority of the threads already, they just delete the unnecessary replies. So for me it is wasting space in our forum.

Seems everyone made a wrong idea about this. I suggested to add an new section in the report section named "Spam", so everyone can make the in-game spam reports there instead the others ones, nothing else.

i think it can be a good suggestion, because now i find, spam in harrasment, in advertising and etc.

For those who still dont know what he means its easy xD.

Just a sub section in report section, for spam reports.
for those /post spammers ingame. and i think he also mean for forum but that can go in the forum section, because no many spam in forum ( i think xD)

But for the spam reports about ingame i will say why not.

Just talking about in-game reports, since forums has not much movement :P
 
Well if it is ingame, No one bothers to make it like this, because you already know that sever 3 will be market. We the people or some people always let them know not to spam. This isn't so of a big deal, What if someone is posting and no one never posted? Then he has no choice in posting it again. But this shouldn't be apply because its what we have to face it, due to market and all will be banned for 5-6 post. :P

I thought this suggestion was for spams here in the forum. :XD: Well then, if you're suggesting to add a sub-section in the "In-game Reports" for ChatBox spams, not sure if it will be necessary.

What I can suggest instead, is: If you think it's improper to put these kind of reports to this certain section then maybe, just its name could be modified a bit? Like, instead of "Harassment reports" then, it could be specific and maybe put "Insults; ChatBox spams; Abuse" or whichever is better.

I don't think we have to add a subsection for that and separate them. :)
On the other hand, yeah I still kinda think it wouldn't hurt either. So it means I'm neutral.
 
Well for forum spam reports for me its just for forum reports since I can only see few reports and cases on forums. But for in game concern, I can say if "Harassment Report" is too complicated to understand for such new players or young players, instead of adding another Spam Report Section. I think you can just edit the "Harassment Report" section to "Spam/Harassment Reports" or "Spam & Harrasment Reports". This will be too easy to understand and locate.

Well that might be good as well, instead add new one just edit the Harassment :P. About forum spam reports, they can still go on forum reports. Since nowadays there's not much activity on forums.
